wow a very quiet day on here today!

Been to ASDA and got lots of goodies! Had duck in pancakes for lunch and got spag bol for tea!

My dad rang earlier to see how I was (very sweet for him) and to say that me sister had text him to ask who was pg! I have 5 sisters and 1 brother but 1 sister ignored me at christmas, never replies to my texts and hasn't even opened or said thanks for her xmas pressie. Ever since she got with new man - she's 19 and he's in his 40's she's been a right cow. So cos she ignores me I didn't bother to tell her.

Seems one of my other sisters has put 'My sister is pg' on facebook and the other one is miffed that I didn't tell her! Dad did tell her that she had no right to be in a mood but she is. How pathetic!

Also told Dad about all the sweets and choccies I'd bought - his words were
'You want to cut that out, it'll be hard enough for you to shift the weight without eating all that crap'. Wow thanks Dad!

I think today could be a record for this thread - where is everyone?!!

I've been lurking for a while, and had an early private scan today and saw my healthy little bubs, heartbeat and all! I'm 7+3 by my dates and the scan measurements which is nice. I was sure they would come up with a different date.

I'll dash off and add myself to the list now.........

Congrats GISI nice to see so many of the TTC thread over here!!!

Tia - you can have my share if you want. I can't stand the stuff or any seafood. Gross, gross, gross.

Just of interest - how many of you take pg vitamins? I took the Santogen ones with FA and have just carried on with them. I know it's safe just wondered how many others did it as well.
My diet isn't great so I need any help I can get!!

Thanks Glam- there seem to be lots of us migrating over at the moment which is lovely.

I'm taking the Tommy's vitamins which contain folic acid. Well, at least I take those on days when I don't feel too pukey as they are huge. On days when MS is playing up I take a teeny folic acid on its own as they are much easier to swallow!

Glam, I bought a load of pregnacare when we were on honeymoon because I'd forgotten my folic acid and they were on offer in boots... I take them sporadically... Whenever I remember... I'm not a big fan of vitamin supplements as a rule... I am dubious as to the source of the vitamins in the pills and the actual amount your body absorbs from them...

Hi Catz

We found the twin prams sooo scary :eek: In the end we went for the Leebruss Zoom tandem. It looks long but is about the same as the Jane one, and very easy to swap between the combinations, folds up small too. The ultimate package contains everything, prams, seats & car seats. So we don't have to worry hopefully :rolleyes: about other bits. Might be worth having a look at????

Has anyone tried any baby slings or carriers???
Don't fancy any of the twin ones,(unless anyones got any suggestions), so looking at normal ones for me & Dh to use when walking the dog.
