Thanks for the BS MFD. If I had to choose 2 fears it would be the epidural and the episiostomy (or any sort of tearing) too. I have gone all new age and decided to 'embrace' my labour and just go with the flow. I am soooo focused on getting little beanie out whatever way it has to happen. Most people just tell you it hurts, its so great to hear all the BS when we get to see the end result too xxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0

Hi all, been looking at twin prams in the shops today  nightmare, all these combi system things .... looks like nothing is simple. Have decided not to leave the house after they arrive until they can hold their heads up and go in a pushchair
:eek::eek: Any suggestions gratefully received0 -

Mooki - you just need to make the right choices for you and be honest to yourself. I wasn't coping and that was the bottom line for me. I needed to do what was best for myself and the baby.
And to be honest my stitches haven't been so bad - far from comfortable but a great excuse to have your feet up!!
I am so glad that I went in with an open mind or god knows how I would have coped.
And just to make sure everyone knows - you bleed loads!! I knew it and I have still been shocked by how much!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Mrs T...so sorry to hear your news...you really have had a rough ride this pregnancy.
MFD...I think its so hard to imagine what labour will be like before you have experienced it. I think you were completely right in that you just have to make a decision based on the circumstances at the time and the wellbeing of yourself and baby.
We all maybe have an idea of what we would like to happen and its all well and good if it happens like that but i think a healthy mum and baby at the end are what matters. Your story was lovely and im glad you could keep focused on the end result x He's so cute by the way xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -

MFD thanks for your birthstory hun - scary but on the other hand I so firmly believe in knowing the worst case scenario because that way I can mentally prepare myself for it... it's the unknown that scares the bejesus out of me!
It's someone telling me they will have to do somethingto me that I've never heard of before! If I've heard about it I can deal with it because I know what is happening and most of the time I know WHY it's happening
I'm ok... been a bit teary today - Whilst my aunt was a lovely person I was never super close to her but it's still hard loosing yet another so soon... It's brought the pain back from the others (I was a lot closer to my grandparents - probably because I lived with them for several years when young...)
Still managed to do a fair bit of stuff - moved chest of drawers into nursery - it doesn't match anything and it's bugging the heck out of me! But Roo needs drawers and I've cleared a couple of spare ones in there so she and I will be sharing drawers for now lol
Moses basket moved in to the bedroom and is being used for storing all the stuff for my hospital bag at the moment.
Folded all the clean clothes and managed to throw out a bin bag full at least of clothes we either never wear or is too worn.
Just contemplating going next door to watch the scotland match with DH and the neighbours...
Might go... take my crochet with meDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

MrsT, your allowed to be upset, whether you were close or not. Little Roo is going to be extra special to the family when she arrives.

This is just a flying visit... Glad to see you lot haven't chatted too much while I've been up since 5am nursing my sick daughter... Am so tired!! And we were supposed to be going to a friends party tonight, had to cancel... Looks like I'll be missing the special mothers day service in church tomorrow too... And they promised chocolates for all the Mums!
Anyway, my hunter gatherer is back from the chippy... Later ladiesA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
