Sugar, hope you got back to sleep! I'm 22+6 and mine (still?) has quiet times but as he's getting bigger I'm starting to work out which way he's lying and that usually explains if he's quiet Plus if you've been racing around or concentrating on something else then you can easily miss it so yours is probably moving more than you think

I've only been up 20 mins and so far I've got a cuppa and whilst it was brewing I've rearranged the stuff on the kitchen worktops Now going to get dressed - see if my old combat trousers still fit! - then get started on the washing and then clearing the spare room.. By clearing I mean putting the majority in my car boot and taking it to my Mum's house!

Suppose I'll just have to get some plain vests/tshirts too - tried one of my old non-maternity work tshirts (£5 from Tesco - the whole dept lived in them last summer!) on yesterday and it looked awful!

Im from N.Ireland, and have booked log cabin at quarry lodge walk, beside alton towers for the week. Planning on taking the kids to Drayton manor and thomas land on Tues/Wed, havent figured out yet what to do on the Thursday, all suggestions welcome

Friday is my DD's 8th birthday and we are staying at splash landings hotel and going to the waterpark that day, then Saturday we're going to alton towers before we fly back saturday night.

Sounds action packed lol, but I will not be going on any rides or anything even though im a big rollercoaster fan, I will be taking it easy

Does anyone know of a good book for fathers-to-be?

We have this one which my mum bought OH the first time round but we packed it away and haven't got it back out yet. I think it's in a box on the top of the wardrobe and can't get the box down on my own. Any others anyone would recommend?

I asked OH yesterday if he was getting excited and he said he was scared. He wasn't specific, just said "I've never been a dad before".. I told him my logic was "he'd never been a fireman before once upto a time" (17 years ago! :eek:) but he's ace at that

I don't know if he will read a book, but he's finished the fiction one he's reading plus he's off next week so has some free time, so I thought I might find one and leave it in the den then it's up to him

What's worrying me is that I'm not worried! Normally I'm a right nervous thing about anything unknown but I'm feeling really chilled about it all right now.. Am sure it'll hit me soon enough!

bored now. waiting on FIL to drop stepladder of soi can finish painting the spare room for baby. gave done it a nice lemon yellow colour, just need to get some border paper/posters to jazz it up. but am going to bet curtains first as i have no real idea what i want
