Hi confused, I've read a few of your posts and just think the best thing would be for you to take your house off the market completely, it's not cos I think you're wasting people's time doing what you're doing, but I just don't honestly think you're going to have the wide ranging publicity you'll need to sell in this climate, if you try to do it yourself!

You've said yourself you don't really need to sell, so why worry about trying to sell now in this climate? I understand about your HIP issues (think they're a waste of time myself) but if you weren't too bothered about selling in the first place, I don't see why you went to the trouble of getting the HIP and going to EAs?

The truth is that I don't think he even knows himself, his posts are so full of contradictions that I'm surprised he can keep up with what his story is.
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)

I feel that when im ready to sell, if i market the property properly get it on right move and the buyers are being more confident with the market, i will be able to sell it.

Like i say i have had enough of estate agents, we still want to sell but we will hang on until the market is at its bottom and the buyers have came back.

Most buyers look at right move and thats where they enquire from, estate agents to me are a waste of time, promise this and that and when it comes to the crunch they are toothless.

Like i said before they remind me of holiday reps, trying to force overpriced trips on holidaymakers.

Wish I knew your details and then I would put you on the black list that EA's keep. Then they would never deal with you as a seller or as a buyer.

Really? I though you were laid off work since last October on 80% pay?

where i work they are going on a 4 day week, ive been laid off since october on 80% pay, and it looks like its going to be extended till at least June, which i think i am going to take up.

Im one of the lucky ones where i work, has i have never over stretched myself , but some of the workers have lost shift money over 100 pound a week and are now going to be on short time, which i think will cause a lot of trouble for them financially.

Its what people get used to and if they are prepared, and there is enough work for them to do 5 or even 7 days then they should be able to work it, i dont think people should be put on a short week to create more jobs for the people who havent got jobs.

It sounds a bit selfish but why should someone give up some of their income so someone else can have a job.

Having said that if it keeps the company still operating and not closing down by going on a 4 day week in the short term i think its better than people losing their jobs.

Even better why dont we pay everyone the same wage each week, and all work 4 days a week, i dont think anyone would mind that.;)
