    estate agent maybe:confused:

Oh yes, of course - everyone who disagrees with you has to be either a FTB or an EA :rotfl:

Now I have a mental image of this bloke walking up and down the street glaring at everyone, mumbling "that one just has to be a FTB, oh yes, and that one is an EA, scum, the lot of them mumble mumble mumble".

    Thanks for the laugh! :rotfl:

(And for the record: no, not an EA, nothing whatsoever to do with the housing market, except as a potential buyer)

are you the one who can not sell his house because the roof is not high enough??

thats why its going in auction next week and you are in theory the same as a first time buyer?

??? Sorry, you've lost me even more now (didn't think that was possible)! No idea what you're talking about???

Nope, not selling any house at auction or anywhere at all for that matter, but happy to oblige and let you consider me "in theory the same as a first time buyer" if that makes you feel better - it obviously plays a huge role in your world

LOL, looks like you succeeded in confusing yourself on that one, judging by your edit. You're still not making much sense, mind.

Ok, I don't have any more time to waste on this now, but thanks for the laugh!

So you're selling but not to sell.
    :)

the current state of play with my house is its been marketed for 250,000 pound, and if someone wants to come and view it for that much they can, ill even go and pick them up.

Next year i will re-evaluate the situation if houses have started to pick up(dont mean go up in price i mean sell) and started to sell i will re adjust the price and hopefully get a buyer, if i dont get a buyer then thats tough luck on me, not any of you on here, so i can not understand, why you are all getting yourselves worked up.

the only reason i am leaving it on the market os so i dont have to pay for the hip, and in a year or two when we sell if a buyer asks why it has been on the maket that long i will explain why.

People have been doing it on the housenetwork, people have put prices of 250,000 pound properties upto 1.25 million pounds, this is so they can wait for prices to hit bottom and then when they decide to sell they will just lower the price and they wont have to pay a fee to the housenetwork or have to buy a hip.

Bottom line when i come to sell in 12 or 24 months i will not have to buy another hip pack and i will also not use a estate agent, so i will save money.

Ive learnt a lot of things since we have had our house on the market one thing is dont trust estate agents and the second thing is hip packs are a rip off, if i can avoid paying either in the future i will.

If anyone has got a problem with me trying to save money then fair enough, but to have a go about the price of my house is completely wrong and goes against everything this site is about, thats why its call moneysavingexpert.com

Im not here to save you money, im here to save myself money.

    1. Look i will not employ another estate agent More like they wouldn't touch you with bargepole
    2. i will not pay for another hip pack Ridiculous...willing to lose thousands on sale price to save £190 on a HIP
    3. i will not lower the price of my house anymore Then you will never sell, making this thread even more ridiculous
    4. i will not sell my house for at least a year or two Yeah....good luck with that!
    5. im not bothered how much i sell it for, as long as it sells and i can move up the ladder Looking even less likely by the day!
    6. i will not seek advice from a financial adviser Unwilling to accept advice from anyone!
    7. i will continue to sell things on ebay Hope to god you're paying the Taxman!
    8. i will go back to work when my sabatical finishes Thats if you have a job to go to!
    9. And i will continue to say things how i find them Unwilling to accept anything other than your own deluded reality.

My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
