Yup I did my tummy area and was hair free in around 6 weeks maybe less. One of the areas I was lucky that it DID work on ... currently doing fortnightly top ups on it.
aww , did u shave it before u do it? i'm afraid if i shave it, will be itchy
i just did my 1st session on bikini line and armpit, it didnt take me even 10 mins to do both ! and i think i'm used to the heat sensation because i did it on a room where there is sun light .. i really enjoyed it , hopfully by the end of next month i'll be hair free !! :T
i wish it would work because non ov my friends and family believes that it works and they think i'm waisting my money!! i hope i prove them wrong0 -

There will be a competition to win a Boots Smooth Skin soon - you've got to be in it to win it!
cocktail_girl - you wouldn't happen to work for Boots, by any chance?!?Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

How peculiar!
:idea:I can't be the only one that's noticed all your posts praise the 'smooth skin' system.

I've re-read your postings, and I agree that it sounds very much like you are one, or probably a group of Boots reps.
The reason is that you seem to know a lot about IPL treatments, about Boots products, and everything you say encourages people to buy IPL (or discourages from buying other stuff).
And you don't post about anything else, or on any other threads.
This is really underhand Boots, and it's going to backfire.
My thinking is that if the product was really that good you would not need to have a fake MSEr to publicise it, and have probably influenced the internet hype in the same way.
I was planning to buy it, but I now have serious doubts about how genuine the positive reviews all over the place are!0 -

Although the Smooth Skin didn't work well for me, I do believe that there are some genuinely satisfied buyers out there from reading many reviews of it on several sites. However, I do remember a whole bunch of postings (enthusiastically praising Smooth Skin and providing loads of information) from a different username on several sites, all of which contained an inordinate numbers of words like "yay!" They were very distinctive and easily recognisable as belonging to one person. I'm pretty sure that particular poster was a Boots employee.
Things like that really put me off. I want to know how much genuine consumers have liked or disliked products, and spam from companies (no matter how well disguised) undermines your trust in the opinion of forum users.0 -

For your information I do post on other threads and forums but these are usually related to my other interests, travel and cruising!
What other postings? Can you provide the links, as under your current user name you have only posted on this thread.0 -
What happened here?
I can't believe it, Boots have been caught out! This is going to be a PR disaster for them considering how popular and well respected this forum is.....
Without mentioning how quickly the word is going to be spread out by MSErs who visit other forums.0 -
