Not even professional laser treatments are PERMANENT.
The body has an overriding ability to heal itself, and start growing hair again!
It will take much longer fo regrowth using intense light/laser therapies than any other sort of hair removal system - and the regrowth is often much finer and more sparse, but don't for one minute believe it will be permanent. It isn't.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Thanks for your post. Can completely empathise with what you're saying. I would go as far as to say the 'problem' ruined a fair chunk of my life for over a decade - and only those that have been in same boat would understand this. But it's great to hear stories such as yours which just go to show that there are solutions that work for some people and a really carppy situation can be turned around in some cases. I've got a little fund going so that it if ever my 'pharmaceutical' solution is no longer viable I can try salon laser and after reading posts like yours I feel really heartened that there is an alternative for me. After reading all the useful posts on here I decided the home treatment wasn't for me - although I can see that it's been of enourmous benefit to others.0 -

How do you know that?
One other thing - I'm sure it will say it in the instructions, but like the burns that were reported above over the ink lines - never use IPL over an area with a tattoo. This will cause burns too.How to find a dentist.

I have payed hundreds of pounds for professional laser treatment ( using the best laser on the market much better that IPL) which I am very pleased with however I know what I will need to continue having sessions every year or so to control hair growth and even then it will still grow but not as much. I was aware of this before I had it done and have no regrets.
Eitherway with this machine or laser it is a commitment for life which you have to have done regular to reduce the hairgrowth it is not a quick fix.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.

btw, i have fair hair its not so dark (like pubic area) , did it work for u guys i mean area's like abdominal and chest ? my skin is light , but i duno if it will work with me i'm so worried now
I heard that it didnt work with some people especially for armpit area0 -
cocktail_girl wrote: »I hope you will not be disappointed, but if your hair is fair then it has less pigment (melanin) in it and it is this pigment that the light is attracted to during treatment. It can work in some people who have very light brown or darker sandy blonde hair but it will take longer (more treatments) to be effective. My underarms were the best area to react, with relation to hair reduction/removal.
Thatsfabulous and Toothsmith both make the point about PERMANENCY, I have not treated my underarms since Easter and have only shaved TWICE!! My Bikini has been treated once since Easter and is virtually hair free with just a few hairs, where I obviously missed a bit, here and there. I am leaving it now and I will report back on any regrowth later. It has been of great benefit to me, I would say even if it is not Permanent, it is definately Long Term hair removal and the claim for Boots Smooth Skin is PERMANENT HAIR REDUCTION not Removal.
Will shaving be a solution ? , i never shaved the area ( i use epilator) but from now i will start to shave so my hair pigiments gets darker for fast treatment . Has any one done that ?:cool:
i'm so glad that armpit area worked for you i'm optimistic now thanks to you, :A , i will spend all my summer zapping
btw what other areas have u used it for

I got the IPL system from Boots a month ago and have been using it every since. I think that the product is great. Having suffering from facial hair problems since a teenager and spending thousands on Salon IPL treatments, this is a breath of fresh air. The IPL System is working for me! My underarm hair is nearly gone.... No hair on my Bikini line either!!! Best buy of 2010!!!0
