can someone explain the "burn meter" on the calorie counter site. I put in an activity which burnt 445 cals but up in the blue square it says 1150 cals
and the total estimate is 2290
Um no!!! I will confess I ignore that bit totally
I am fairly sure we will be doing this again in April - not sure if it will be zzzLazyDaisy (where are you btw?!) or me running it :rolleyes:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

fluffybishop - ooh, where are you off to? I'm going away towards the end of April too but will join in till I go! I'll probably lose weight on hols (Asia), always happens to me in that part of the world!
kittycoocat, enjoy the walk! I've also been losing and gaining since the start of the year but the trend is definitely (slowly) downwards.
gillz83 - as long as you concentrate on one or the other, they will both come together. I find that exercising more eventually makes me want to eat better. HTH.
I went to the gym at lunchtime, managed to burn 300 cals, yeeha!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Tara - nothing as exotic as Asia I'm afraid, but we are going to Edinburgh for a week on the 5th April and I can't wait :j . I really love Edinburgh but not stayed there before just visited for the day a couple of times.
We are staying the first night in The Witchery  :T :j as a very special birthday treat for hubby and have a table booked in their restaurant that night :j .
The next few nights we are in another hotel in central Edinburgh but I have looked on Trip Advisor and there are some really fantastic restaurants in Edinburgh and I fully intend trying them out :rotfl: [not very MSE but our Air Miles are paying for the second hotel so we can not feel so guilty eating out every night]
We are stopping off on the way home in the Lake District in a place with an Award winning restaurant so bang goes my diet in April :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
fluffybishop, that sounds absolutely gorgeous!!!! I am a big fan of Edinburgh, you will have a lovely time. Let us know how the Witchery goes (lucky you). I've never been to the Lake District but it sounds amazing.
