fluffybishop - I do remember you saying you did all that dancing! I admire you for fitting it all in. It's good to make tme to exercise and treat it as a priority (and in return you get lots of energy and get skinny, good trade off imho!). :D

poshstock - well done on maintaining and have a good weekend! :A

littleemmie - well done on doing the DVD! Keep up the good work, go you! Enjoy your trip to the beach, oh how I would love to be on a beach right now.

I'm eating quite a lot today - it's all good stuff, but still. I'm nearly eating every hour. :o I just can't seem to get full! Who else here has days like that? On the plus side, I've racked up an hour and 20 minutes of walking. I won't get walking home as OH is picking me up from work to go off for the weekend, but I've done ok this week so I don't mind...

Eeek only half a pound off this week.

If you've read my other thread I have an underarm boil, so I've not been at my martial arts classes this week (feels like I'm smuggling a golf ball around in my armpit)

On the plus side the trousers I wear for work have gone a bit slacker round the waist, and I have grading on Sunday which is 2 hrs length and always a great workout, so I'm hoping for better results by next week.

only 10 days to go in March, ladies (and gents if there aree any?).

My weight is piling on , it appears that even though I have the coil fitted my system has decided to go back to three weeks ON and one week off, so I have water retention for Britain, my pain has increased, leading to more pain medication, which piles the weight on, I even want chocolate which I NEVER normally want to eat.

I am getting to the stage of thinking "hang weight loss" and just going back to not eating AT ALL as that is what I am happiest doing

  • Morning everyone and HAPPY MOTHER's DAY for all your mums out there! I've had my lovely cards from my little ones (Dh more like!) and that's put a smile on my face for the day!

Dragon - don't know what to say hun. Given your health, you may be right to stop trying to lose weight and just do what you know suits your body and keeps you in the best health you can be in. I'm on the coil as well, it seems to have regulated my TOTM for me which is good.

Charlie - congrats on the job hun! well done. hopefully you'll lose weight when you're busy at work.

Aliuro - well done on losing some inches or cm or millimeres! At least you're losing something!!

    Tara hope you're having fun!

I've totally lost the plot myself weight (lack of) loss wise! But once again, I'm thnking another week another go at losing weight, I know I've eaten loads this week and not really done any excercise, so was surprised to find I'm the same as last week - 13stone 7lbs. Which is what i started with back in Feb so technically Ive lost sod all in the past 6 weeks!

My tutor and my son's teacher at school have both lost weight - one's lost 9lbs and the other look so much thinner and they're doing slimming world and WW. Maybe it's time to give the clubs a go..... don't seem to be doing a very good job of it myself really.

I have these wonderful plans at the start of the week and think "it's only a week so I'll do lots of fish, chicken and steamed veg" and then for some reason I don't do it.

Sooo, once again I'm gonna try to lose weight for this last week of March. I'll aim for 2lbs off between now and 31st March. I will start excercising again. I will each lots of veg, fruit, yoghurts and protein - and NO BLOOMING JUNK!!

It's easy to do really so I will do it. I can do it. I will need your help though guys!!!

Have a good daly all xx
  • Lost a pound this week which takes me to 3 lbs for March and 17 lbs since January. I am not expecting to hit the half stone target this month but any loss is a good thing as it is the downward trend I am after!

Hope everyone else has done well this week!

Morning everyone! Hope we're all raring to go in this last full week of March.
The sun is starting to come out here in Brum - although a bit nippy outside - still thinking about whether to get take the kids walking to school this morning...hmmm got about half an hour to decide!

I have asked a neighbour to have my daughter for an hour or so today so i can go swimming at lunchtime!! Have talked about going for about a month now so am definately going today - NO MATTER WHAT! Will pick up an aerobics programme while i'm there too and will do my best to try to get to a class this evening. I will do at least 30minutes of excercise every day for the rest of march -whether at home or at the local gym - will try to get to the gym as i'll do more fat burning stuff there rather than taking the easy option at home!
DH has booked a week away next month with some friends and he wants to lose weight too, so all cooking will be as healthy for the whole family - fingers crossed!

Hope we all have a good week guys. Tara, hope you had a great weekend x

ailuro - half a pound off is half a pound off!!!! Well done you! :T How's the boil???

Charlie - huge congrats on the job, that's such great news!!

poshstock - hope TOTM is not going too badly. Good luck for the next weigh in and keep at it, that's the spirit!! :A

plzhelpmesave - don't lose heart! Just do as you planned as really go for it this week. Any loss will really motivate you, I know you can do it. Are you going to try joining a class? And I hope you walked the kids to school!!!!! :j

Dragon - you have got to keep eating babe!!! No matter what. Is there any way you could try alternative therapies for your condition? I have tried Chinese medicine, acupuncture etc for different problems and they have worked. HTH. Don't let it get you down. (((hugs))) :A

Rotherham Lass - that's great, another 1lb off, you are doing great!!! The downward trend is the vital thing, I agree. Even losing a couple of lbs a month is good, as it is more likely to stay off if you lose it slowly (that's my excuse anyway). :rotfl:

My weekend was lovely thanks, we went for dinner yesterday and ate a fair bit all weekend (although I tried to be good!). I did some stretching, sit ups etc but NO walking. I felt so lazy!!! :o I'm going to work late today, will be leaving the house in 10 mins but going to do a quick weigh in first! I'll be back shortly...

    OMG happy days!!!!!!!!!!!

    59.9kg

That's a whole kg lighter than Friday morning!!! And 0.6kg lighter than on 1 March, or about 1.5lbs. It's nothing compared to what some of you have lost, but I am sooooo happy to have got below 60kg at LAST! I feel slimmer around the middle and on my legs too, and OH has finally started to notice. It's given me such a boost.

Maybe I can get some more off before the end of the month - here we go for 8 days of massive effort! :D It's strange that I lost that much in a week when I was walking lots rather than running, hmm, interesting...
