Yay - STAYED THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so pleased. Not good for the March challenge, but at least I didn't put on.

Just a short post tonight, got loads of paperwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Need to sort my life out! :T
  • Hi all - i know i say this nearly every week now, and i still manage to loose, but i am NOT looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in! I have been very hungry this week for some reason and found myself 'snacking' more. Although it's not 'bad' food, it's just more than normal!
Was very good last week at friend's 40th party! I only had 2 diet pepsi's and a small plate of food ( unlike OH who made a pig of himself as usual! He had 3 plate full's and 3 pints of beer! ), and did have a bit of a boogie, so it all help's!

Oh well, finger's crossed for tomorrow, shall be happy as long as i don't put on! Only got one more lb to lose to make it 1 1/2 stone's, so that's what i'm aiming for.

Will post tomorow nite with any new's.

Thanks for all your kind words - it really help's! Your all so nice on here and supportive, what a great bunch!

    See you tomorrow then.....xxxx

It's great to get out in bright sun this time of year, really perks us all up.

The downside is I'm waking up at 5 o'clock!

Even with blackout blinds AND blackout curtains my body clock seems to know the sun is coming up earlier.

Hopefully I'll be so tired I'll sleep longer in the next few days.

Well depsite wedding last weekend, when I consumed copious amounts of alcohol, I have actually managed to lose 1lb this week. Hurrah :j

Unfortunatly cos i put 2lbs on the week or so before, that means I'm only down to 12 stone 3lb.
Still its the lightest i've been since christmas (when I just over the 13stone mark)

taffy - well done on staying the same, that is good news, especially with your back being sore and all!!

poshstock - how did the weigh in go??

smallpackages and ailuro - totally agree about the sunshine, it has made a world of difference to my mood (I feel so summery and happy, lalalala). ailuro - hope you sleep better over the weekend xo

fluffybishop - WELL DONE!!!!:T :T You go girl! Can I ask what exercise you have been doing?

SDH - also a big congrats to you, that's great!! :D

As for me, I weighed in at 60.9kg this morning (1lb more than yesterday :o ). I am feeling very bloated at the mo, TOTM is coming up - and also I have a very sluggish bowel which is feeling very full, so I am hoping to lose that again, and hopefully more! I have been exercising like mad all week and eating ok (mostly) so fingers crossed. My legs are def looking better than they did at the start of January!!

I'm going to visit friends and family all weekend so won't be on here from this afternoon till Sunday night, I will miss you all! I also won't be weighing in again till then, probably a good thing! :rotfl:

Here's to a good day for everyone.

Tara I have always done 'my own thing' exercise wise - it has worked for me [as you can see from my signature] :D
Last year I used my exercise bike and a fitness dvd [aerobic and toning] and used both forms of exercise Mon-Fri for 2-3 hours a day. That's not to say everyone needs to exercise that much but once I hit 40 odd I found I needed to up the exercise to get any loss at all
At Christmas I put on a few pounds and still haven't lost all of it and have hit a wretched plateau so have upped the exercise and changed what I do.
So - at the moment, since beginning of March, I am doing 2 hours a day [Mon-Fri] of aerobic dancing - just at home :D I put some fast songs on my ipod and do half an hour at a time of really fast dancing and try to get my pulse up to around 120 a minute. I put in some toning moves from the dvd into the dancing as well to try and tone at the same time, but most important of all is to get the pulse rate up to increase the metabolic rate.I do 4 x 30 minutes 5 days a week and sometimes fit in 30-60 minutes on the exercise bike. Fast aerobic dancing can burn 420 calories an hour depending on your weight :D

It appears to be working :D :j :j but I won't pretend it is easy fitting it all in
  • Thanks ailuro, I didn't know that I could check up on my weight record on the wii fit. Looking at it as really shocked me. Before I started the Feb challenge I was gaining weight every single week which I didn't really take note of at the time. I'm so glad you guys have motivated and helped me to start losing it!

Well done on all losers (I mean that in the nicest possible way!) and maintainers this week!! Looks like this is a good week for everyone!

I tried out the Davina dvd on Weds night. Lets just say I was so shattered afterwards I put my pyjamas straight on and crashed on the sofa for the rest of the night!!! I actually really enjoyed it though, and didn't ache too much the next day which is good. I'm going to do another session tonight and again on saturday and see if it contributes towards my weigh on on Tues!

Have a lovely time with your family Tara, we'll miss you too! My parents and brother are visiting me on sunday so we're going to take a big picnic down the beach! Can't wait :D
