I can't join in in April because I have 2 weeks off work and going away for 1 week and that will mean eating out loads  Doesn't matter how careful I am in what I choose I always put a few pounds on when I am on holiday
  • Thanks Tara.
I need a goal to aim for. I'm pratting around just wasting time today...and getting quite annoyed with myself!!
I'm only looking to shred 7lb in total....Ha ha notice the word 'shred'....
More like painfully lose 2lb, gain 1, gain 3, feel bad, lose 4, feel better, gain 2, etc, etc, etc.....and it goes on...
Thanks a bundle....i'm just going out to walk the dog.
    Regards

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah its good to have a target, although I tend to do one or the other well i.e. eat well and ignore exercise or vice versa, so gonna try really hard :o
Started training last week and can comfortably run 4k but going to push myself next week n hopefully get up to 6 or 7k.

  • Hi Fluffy,
Don't even think about it whilst you are away. Just eat whatever you want.
Enjoy it and address the situation on arriving back home.
All the best, have a great time.

can someone explain the "burn meter" on the calorie counter site. I put in an activity which burnt 445 cals but up in the blue square it says 1150 cals  and the total estimate is 2290
