haven't time to reply to you all individually - as I'm a busy wee bee in work this morning!!

an STS for me this week - which to be honest - I'm totally delighted with!! :T With the amount I drank/ate over the weekend I'm just delighted I didn't put anything on!!

Need to get myself sorted though - I'm still suffering a 2 day hangover today - so have been totally starving all day - I'll just need to try make sure I only eat good food!!

Well done claire and crapwithmoney!!! Sorry to hear about your hangover crapwithmoney, hope you feel better soon.

Well, I went to the gym at lunchtime (even though I was tired)... 24 minutes doing the hill walking burned 300 calories! Well impressed!! :D OH is making 'something nice' for dinner, which is bound to involve lots of calories, argh. I will have a small portion if it's something fattening and then go for a walk afterwards to burn it off, I'm so determined to do well for these last 8 days of March!!

It's so quiet on here today... :(

I dragged my sorry bum off for a walk after dinner, I feel so much better now. Although it was a very stodgy moussaka, burp! I really needed the walk.

  • Sorry I haven't posted for a while! So easily side tracked with every day life like most others I think.

Well done to everyone. I must say Tara747, you seem much more active than me! Good on you.

I have been keeping quite active although have slipped on a few days :( My weight is 10st 8lbs now so I have lost 6lbs so far but am feeling the urge to eat lots, arrrrrrgh!! Each day is a battle with my little devil on one shoulder saying 'go one, eat it' and the angel on my other shoulder saying 'don't do it'!! lol

Just hope I can keep up the good work and succeed at this goal as it's my first time doing it on here

Keep up the good work everyone. The sun is shining so it's a great opportunity to get out and burn off some calories :)

Well looks like a half pound gain over the week - but seeing as mid week I was half a stone up then I can just about cope with this - at some point I need to see the pain clinic again (in May) and I think I need to ask to see a dietician as well - losing weight will help the pain so I hope they will go for it and help me out here.
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

Dragon, good for you. I hope the dietician will sort you out. Insist on seeing one (you need to be assertive with doctors I find). :A

icecubequeen, big congrats on the 1lb loss and the 5lbs to date in March, that is great!! :j

stacyl1977, well done on the 6lb loss, fantastic progress! You may be having a few slip ups but the overall trend is down, well done you. Yes, I am really trying to get properly active again as I used to be very fit and have just let it slip (and that's how the weight gain happened). It's mostly just walking with some running thrown in, and a little bit of toning/resistance exercise. I'm so glad I started back in dreary wet January, as I am now starting to see the effects in time for spring and hols! This morning, I tried on a dress I intend to wear to this upcoming wedding and it's actually loose-ish on me (it was tight a couple of months ago)! I was so happy. :) My eating habits have got a bit better but I have a lot of room for improvement, esp. on portion sizes and snacking!

I'm going to step up my gym efforts this week since the weather is bad, I'm going back today for some more hill walking. I'm so motivated at the minute and want to make the most of it. Let's see how long it lasts! :rotfl:

Here's to a good day for all of us. We can do it!
