Thanks for all your kind wishes Rotherham Lass, Daisy, Leothecat and Dragon. I came to work today, OH said that there was no point in two of us being there - but the hospital is very close by if I need to go.
I weighed in at 60.5kg this morning, scales going down again which is good - just wish I could get excited about it! She is such a lovely woman, I am hoping it's nothing serious.
Leothecat, how was your mum in the end? Glad to hear you are feeling more positive, we all have times like that! That's good that you stayed the same, it'll give you a boost. We are all here for you, you can do it xoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Heya Tara, sending you and your OH good wishes fror his mum. Hope she's home soon xx
Weightwise- have a really bad headache whcih i've had for the past few days and despite trying to make myself get up and excercise - i can't! Just feeling really tired, and want to sleeeeeep0 -
I just got a call from OH, his mum has finally been diagnosed - don't want to say what it is as have been telling peeps in the office (and you never know who's on here!) but it is treatable and nothing like as serious as we'd feared. Thank goodness! She'll be out of hospital by the end of the week hopefully.
I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders (pardon the pun!). Thanks again for your posts.
plzhelpmesave - no point in doing anything strenuous with a bad headache, but maybe a walk in the fresh air would help? It would give you some exercise which would stop you feeling guilty about not exercising (which is probably making your headache worse!). Just take it easy xoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi Tara,
So sorry to hear about your MIL - but glad the worst of it's over! The not knowing what's happening is always the worst bit! I'll keep my fingers crossed she's feeling better soon!
I had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning, and am weighing another 1lb lighter!Fingers crossed I'll hold onto it for my next official WI on Monday! I have 2 b/day nights at the weekend - and that's almost enough to make me not want to drink at them!!
I've been really good since Monday morning - my only slip up was a hot choc from the vending machine in work - but it was only a small cup - so hopefully won't do too much damage!!
((((HUGS))))) to those of you who need them!! Hopefully the recent appearance of the sun might help us all to get a bit more motivated! It always seems more appealling to me to be eating healthily when the sun's shining!!
Taffy - How's the back today? Is it feeling any better? Don't worry about the exercise - if you're in pain it's best not to aggrivate it - your body'll let you know when it's ready to get back into it (Pardon the pun!!)
Plzhelpmesave - How was the walk? Did it help any with the headache? Think i might get the trainers on and head out for a powerwalk tonight too!!
Leo - well done on maintaining!! :j :T That's great news - and hopefully a wee boost for you!! Hope you're starting to feel a wee bit better!!
Dragon - :T  Well done on getting those calories up - and if it's coming from carrots and the like - even better - since it's all nice and healthy!! :T
Smallpackages - :hello: and welcome to our wee thread! I'm sure you'll fit right in!! Good news you got out on your bike! I'd love to start cycling - but the fact I haven't got a bike is a bit of a drawback! It's my birthday in June though - maybe some kind person might contribute to one for me!
Good luck with your second day - breaking the cycle is always the hardest part!! - You'll be flying by the time you make it to day 4/5!!
Fluffybishop - You are my inspiration this week!! Fingers crossed the scales will show a good result for you!!:A

Just had a couple of realisations:
1> I've lost 9lbs since the start of the year - which takes me to halfway against my target - which I plan on reaching before July 3rd!!
2> My BMI is now 22.4 (Was over 25 when I first started fighting the flab!!) - I'd figured that as long as I got my BMI to 22 or under I'd be quite happy - which means - I've only really got 3lbs to shift before I hit my ideal BMI!!
Plus - I'm feeling so much more in control of my body these days - my blowouts don't bother me so much - because I know I can pull it back quite easily - I'm not sure if I should tempt fate - but methinks I might finally have changed my attitude to food - and for the better!?
Sorry to sound so smug and preachy!! But it's taken such a long time to get to this point - and it feels a bit weird to finally be able to say, that I no longer consider myself to be overweight!
Hopefully with the help of this thread, I'll get that last 9lbs shifted - so all that's left to do - is to start properly working on my fitness!

hey peeps :hello:
Just popping in to update on my weight loss for the first 2 weeks of March. I've lost 2 lbs so far which i'm happy enough with as my total loss since the start of Feb is now 10.5lbs:D
This week seems to be the hardest for some reason, i'm feeling fat all the time and my motivation is starting to wane so i'm making sure i stay extra focused on my diet. I hope this feeling passes soon as up until the weekend i was feeling really happy and positive
Congrats to all my fellow losers, and i'm sending you all happy weight loss vibes to keep you all going:p
