I'm not amused. I'm now heavier than when i first started this challenge:mad: . I think its coz i didnt eat when i was poorly and lets say i've more than made up for it yesterday and today. I feel really bloated and heavy not suprising tho with the amount of carp i've stuffed down me today:o
Right must get my bum back in gear, it's not like i dont know what to do. Eat less and move more. It's hardly rocket science so why cant i do it:rolleyes:

Morning all! Had a lovely sunny day in Brum yesterday so hope its more of the same today.
Well done on some great losses! You provdide great inspiration for the rest of us xx
There's loads of us feeling carp at the moment about how we're doing - add me to the list guys! Back up to 13stone 7lbs - absolutely no excercise for over a week (joined gym last monday & have yet to show my face there) and have scoffed myself mad this week - partly TOTM and partly coz i wanted to!
CwM - loved your post, thanks hun! full of sound sensible and do-able advice so will try to think more about what you've said. Just had lots of family stuff happening, been dong loads of babysitting, redecorating and sorting out the house etc and have just grabbed and picked at bits when i wanted them instead of thinking about being good!
I now know I need to knuckle down and stick with proper excercise and eating - only 4 months to go til the blooming family wedding now - and i'm the biggest I've ever been.
DH saw an old photo of me while we were redecorating and told me I used to be gorgeous, and said he'd love me to look like that again.... so would I! So gonna keep going but try a lot harder, chuck all my excuses and tiredness and "life gets in the way" and find the darn time to excercise and look after myself. I'm lucky enough to have a great family who will help me out whenever i ask for it, so will try to take up on all offers of help to get thin...ner!0 -
Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't checked in for a while, been busy with this and that.
Had my rowing machine delivered yesterday, but was so tired after being on feet all day yesterday at the animal shelter, I was too tired to have a go on it! Will start using it tonight!
Weigh in day today and to my surprise I have lost 3 pounds!! Really surprised as I didn't get to the gym or for a swim last week and ate loads! Including a Pizza Hut on Friday! So stepping on the scales this morn and seeing that was great!
I am geared up to do the 3 day diet this week. Originally planned because I thought I wasn't going to lose any weight last week, so thought I would need to step it up this week. But after weighing myself this morn, I don't really need to do the 3 day diet, but as I have bought the food in especially I might as well see it through.
I don't enjoy doing the 3 day diet, as I get so hungry and miserable and it is a bit of a fad diet, but I do get results from it. Just have to be careful not to pile it back on once I come off the diet.
Food intake today:
(3 day diet plan)
B: 1/2 grapefruit & piece of toast with peanut butter
L: 4oz tuna & piece dry toast2 slices ham, 4oz beetroot, 4oz green beans, 4oz ice cream, 1 small apple.
Exercise:
Gym 1hr
Swim 1hr
Bike/rowing machine 1hr
Hope everyone is on target!

Crapwithmoney - Excercise not been as good as I hoped. Did do the wii fit a couple of times over the weekend. I've got plenty of excuses why didn't do more!!! Food intake not been too bad, could have been better but could have been much worse.
Went to the hospital yesterday to have a cyst looked at on my back and they decided to cut it out there and then!!!! It's good as it's gone now, but as i wasn't expecting them to do it, it was a bit of a shock! Now limited to the type of exercise I can do, but will increase walking and just do the step exercise on the wii fit and keep my arms still. My back is oh so sore!
Dragon - Sorry things aren't going right with the weight loss at the moment. It must be very frustrating making yourself eat when you don't want to. Try not to beat yourself up about it. The main reason, from what I've read, is your medication, which you obviously can't do without. Try not to think about the weight loss too much, and it may start to happen all on its own. (I hope this doesn't sound patronising, and you know what I mean). x
Well done to everyone who has lost this week and to those who haven't but have gone down a dress size - go you!
Those who haven't, there's always next week. We know we shouldn't eat that cake/biscuit/yoghurt! but sometimes you just have to!
Bit long, sorry. Have a good day everyone.

hello smallpackages, and welcome. As Dragon says, just jump right in and get going. You can do it!!!
The calorie count site is brilliant (see first post). It has helped me no end, and having a visual graph of my weight loss (and gains) over the past few months does spur me on and help me keep focussed. So it is worth checking it out.
Good luck!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
