Installed via A&L last week and since then have been unable to use/view anything requiring Flash Player.
Disabled Rapport today and everything working fine again.0 -
I installed it a few months ago as First Direct internet banking nags you to do so. It wasn't compatible with something in my pc setup and caused all sorts of problems. Would never go near it again.0

Installed last night from HSBC.
1) Safari not supported! - microsft conspiracy?
2) IE Bowser now just hangs so I can't even get to my banking with this. Jeez this stuff really is secure!!
3) On line support want to do a remote investigation but as they're in the US (I guess) they can only do UK time 10am to 3pm. So I'd need to take a day off work - I wonder if I can charge this to HSBC?
Solution - restored form disc image taken prior to install
Now I need to contact bank/watchdog to see what their view is. Mine is as I use Zone Alarm Extreme I don't need this.
OK, had a spare few mins at weekend and have doscovered that the issue happens with IE when using virtualization for browser. Disable this feature and it works.
Apparently Trusteer are working with Zone Alarm to resolve issue.0 -
I downloaded it and it was a waste of MB space.
I have Norton 360 which practically alerts me of the correct/phishing website anyway.
If you want peace of mind, just buy Norton 360. Had it for 2 years now and it hasn't let me down, yet.
(to mix 2 analogies)

You have to spend money to save money. 3 computer towers got destroyed because of viruses before.
I wouldn't trust this 'free' software. What this software does is what Norton already does for me on internet explorer with phishing alerts (e.g secure padlock website for natwest ect)
The IE phishing alert you mention is not comparable to this software. Rapport encrypts all communication between the keyboard and the browser; it alerts you if you enter recorded credentials into a site you haven't manually defined as trusted; it prevents software taking automatic screenshots. There's no real way to test the main parts of it but if it really does what it says on the tin it's great technology.
What is isn't is an AV, anti-phishing, anti-malware product. It's another product in your arsenal (wonder if !!! is gonna show there?) and I haven't had a problem with it.
For all those saying "it's crap - uninstall it", some software won't like certain features, so you need to edit the settings and disable certain functions - read the help file for details. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

But usually no, they don't tend to survive a rebuild. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -
