Well done, I'm afraid though that you are doomed now. I've recently sold a book and unfortunately somehow managed to miss that there was an inscription on the title page. The buyer has contacted me, not asking for a refund, (but she did want to give it as a birthday present) but obviously I'm going to offer her one. Just don't know how it's done. Obviously will refund her postage costs as well, but will want the book back. What's the best thing to do?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Personally I would say something like 'I am very sorry that this dedication was overlooked and that you have been disappointed in your purchase. Please return it and I will make a full refund of the amount paid'. Apologise a lot and sound genuinely mortified and most of the item they decide it is all OK anyway and then leave a positive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just a quick question to those that might know, all my Amazon listings i pick the delivery to UK instead of the delivery to UK and Europe. I've been trading for 90 days but of those days only 2 days have i had European buyers, 4 on one day, 3 on another. Is this just coincidence? Or does exposure change for 24 hours sometimes?MFW - £79,349 outstanding Nov 2010

You don't have to and some of the big sellers don't bother, personally I find it useful as you get a slip for the package plus a printed address.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you are selling overseas and have NOT ticked that option then I would get on the phone to Amazon CS right away. There is no indication on the seller boards that this has happened to anyone else but Amazon is very glitchy at the moment. This might be nasty for you if a heavy book gets sold overseas as the postage credit is miniscule and you could easily lose out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. When i first started selling on Amazon I was under the impression you had to and have done so eversince - I could be wrong but like soolin i find it useful as i cut the printed address and use for the parcel - cuts down on my chance for error and when, as occasionally happens, they complain about non-reciept I don't panic and think its something I've addresses wrongly.Actually it usually ends up back with me saying they haven't picked it up from the post office. My slow sales continue but the beginning of the month is always a bit better for me (always assumed it was to do with pay day) so heres hoping and have a good month everyone:beer:
