The first you know is when you get an email from seller central telling you your item has been sold. You must then log into Amazon safely (never follow links in emails) and then you'll find the buyer's address and you need to send item within 2 working days.
the money is added to your Amazon acocnt and paid out every two weeks.
If you ever get an email with a buyers address in it, it is FAKE, so be warned.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You recieve a dispatch email directly from Amazon telling which item has been sold. At that point you log on and get the buyers address/dispatch note.0 -

Just go into your current inventory and tick the close item box on the right. Then save change. You then get an email through from Amazon confirming it so you can be sure it has registered.0 -

If you are new to Amazon can I please urge you to check your listings for any cheap items that may be a problem after the postal prices increase next week.
A standard paperback that weighs between 250 - 500 grammes will then cost £1.85 to send 2nd class and for a non pro you would have to have the book prices at over 50p to actually break even. There are still tiny new sellers listing chart paperbacks at 1p when they will make a loss.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for the reminder soolin. Had forgotten how that might relate to Amazon margins:eek:0 -
Just bumping to nag again. Please check all your 1p listings, even pro sellers are going to be making barely nothing on a standard 1p paperback when postage goes up on Monday. WE currently get £2.27 for a 1p sale a standard paperback that is over 250g but under 500 g is going to cost £1.85 2nd class, so make sure it is worth storing them in future.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Email the buyer first, explain that they have left you a negative and basically it means your business will be destroyed. As them if they felt that something was lacking in your service to warrant a neg and explain that if there is you would appreciate them telling you so it doesn't happen again. Basically grovel and ask them if they could remove the neg.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
