I think I wanted to be a rebel lol I was actually quite good at school..didn't put any effort in and still passed all 10 gcse's, 4 of them being A-C's! But I just didn't want to do the whole college/uni thing. Im hoping my DD will live it for me lol

right - going to snuggle up and watch a film with OH. Will pop on in the morning to see if anymore replies to my scan pic question.

Oh yeah - word of warning don't watch the new film Unborn whilst pg - OH stupidly got hold of it and we started watching it the other night. He switched it off after 30mins freaked out to the max - I wasn't (hell it's only a film) but he was mortified that things could be going in on in there!

    Good night all

That trailer really upsets me. My DS was a twin and I lost the other baby in the womb. I was incredibly lucky to keep hold of Alexander and I can't believe they have made a film out of an experience like that. I am proper being over sensitive but I caught the trailer when I went to cinema and it really upset me. Too soon I think.

Nicki, I was just going to ask if your dates were right and remembered that you had an early scan. Wow, I can't believe you are that size already - could it be more than one?! I don't know if that would have shown up so early.

Funnily enough I googled that very question only a few weeks ago, and scared myself by finding several examples where twins had been missed on a 6 week (and even a 12 week scan) usually because one is behind the other at the crucial point! On the other hand apparently twins doesn't manifest itself by getting huge in the early stages - you'll be the size of a stately home when nearly term but just normal size for the first tri.

I'm telling myself that my huge bump is all down to the fact that is my third child and fourth pregnancy, and absolutely nothing to do with my new found cravings for Starbucks Cinnamon Swirl buns!

But my next scan is next Tuesday so will report back then!

Scan pics - just scan them in the computer :) They fade with time anyway and at least that way you have a permanent copy of it :) Because our parents all live abroad we scanned ours and e-mailed them :) I still have the originals and they look fine still but I'm not worried if they do fade quicker as ultimately I still have them - and they print out fine one photo paper :)

Glam I'm probably going to be the same... maybe minus the sex as if Hubby was funny about shagging me at less than 20 weeks because there was a bump there then I don't see him being enthusiastic about it when she's actually due  - but I shall book myself in for acupuncture and the foot thingy whatchamacall it - name eludes me :) I hate people touching my feet but I'd rather that and her coming on time-ish... :D
Right guess I ought to go and make some dinner - can't stop coughing tonight grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Right pregnancy related question...

I really really don't want to go over my due date, the more I think about it the more I obsess about this... Do you think that there is any chance of them agreeing to induce me on my due date if she's not arrived?

Its definately worth an ask! Lots of ladies on here get sweeps well before term plus 10 but our PCT definately won't. We practically begged the consultant to induce early due to my high BP and big baby but he wouldn't budge. Apparently they only consider it if baby is estimated at 5kg  which as it turns out Jamie almost was! :rotfl:.

    xx
