There was a really posh looking lady in a while ago..very snotty she was, walking around in her fancy clothes, swishing her perfectly groomed hair ect..then one of my work mates went into clean her room and said the place was a !!!!!! tip and there was skidders in the loo :rotfl: HAHAA!!

*Yawn* I've been having a sooze and still feel utterly knackered - DH pointed out that it's probably because roo has had another growth spurt so even if I haven't actually done much then she has and she shares my energy after all... He's so sweet bless him :)
Dunno how he puts up with the house looking like it does or dinner being so late/having to do it himself half the time :) Don't get me wrong normally I'd point out we both work and we do share house work but I've been home for 2 weeks and had today off so I ought to have done SOME housework  just no energy today at all!
Oh and I seem to have got a great cough now... super... grrrrrrrr

    Right pregnancy related question...

I really really don't want to go over my due date, the more I think about it the more I obsess about this... Do you think that there is any chance of them agreeing to induce me on my due date if she's not arrived?

Mooki, your bump looks lovely and neat. Mines much bigger than that and I'm only 10+5! I was looking at the pics on the Daily Mail website which the journalist took of her bump week by week, and my current bump looks like hers looked in week 29!

Nicki, I was just going to ask if your dates were right and remembered that you had an early scan. Wow, I can't believe you are that size already - could it be more than one?! I don't know if that would have shown up so early.

My bump is about the same size as her week 13 maybe a little smaller (depends if I need a poo or not :rotfl: )

Why don't you want to go over Tine?

I'm just up from a nap, and I'm shattered. Off out to antenatel, and I don't want to go. I want to go back to bed!

Glam, OH scanned ours using a 3-in-1 scanner/printer/tea-maker thingy and they're fine. It's only placing it on the glass after all. Maybe they mean if you use a different type of scanner  OH is a bit of a computer nerd so I reckon he wouldn't have done it if in doubt - I'll ask him when he gets back. I do know you shouldn't laminate them though - something to do with the heat and them being on a particular type of paper.. maybe it melts it!

What about making your own lollies from orange juice? Ice lolly and a portion of fruit - no?

Feeli - Soo glad the scan went well:) Can I just ask, why did you find it awkward with the sonographer being male?

I've got Post Trauamtic Stress Disorder stemming from childhood sexual abuse, so I'm a bit funny about men touching me! In my head I know it is totally irrational, just can't help but panic when a bloke (other than OH) touches me in any way.

Wasn't too bad, the tucking the paper into the top of my trousers made me cringe a bit, but I suppose it is probably the safest sort of procedure, and a good way to get desensitised, incase I have to have an examination in labour by a bloke.

Honestly not sure I could tell you Feely...
Well I know that being hugely pregnant in the heat is one of my nightmare scenarios but working on the last couple of years that ain't gonna be a problem in the UK  I just can't really think of anything worse than going over and getting bigger and bigger... maybe it's the control freak in me... there has been so much I haven't had any control over in the last 6 months with 3 deaths and then 18 weeks of MS and now this back and hip thing and I just need some control back???
On a practical side it would also make it easier for mum to arrange her travel over from Denmark but that's not the issue because I know if she can't get a flight she'll just drive over :)
I THINK it's the control issue...
