'Noon ladies - just back after loooon meeting. In which was v uncomfortable as my shirt was too snug round my middle (I like fitted shirts but their days are numbered methinks). Just about to shop for some smart tees for work. Any recs?

Nesting and pregnancy are a bad combination. I am doing things I would never have done before I was pregnant. I have done a mass tidy today so beanies room is ready for the big stuff (still to get). I filled 2 big bin bags with rubbish - where does it all come from. Then I emptied my chest of drawers so beanie can have them. I then tried to lift and move said chest of drawers and had telll tell myself off (out loud - neighbours think i'm weird anyway!). Just called hubby and told him to get home quick before I start trying to pick up our bed, the sofa, the fridge etc etc.

I think we need a seperate thread called ' what are we eating/did we eat today', I would happily live there - all your dinners/breakfasts/ lunches/snacks sound so yummy! I attribute all my weight gain to virtual calories gained from listening to you lot talk about food!

Mook you reminded of when i was nesting with zoe i was still living with my parents at the time ... went to bed one night and decided everything in my bedroom NEEDED!!! to be changed as it was wrong i think i got to sleep about 3am that night... step-father was about to tell me off in the morning for moving heavy things (bed, chest of drawers and all that) ... mother stopped him before he said anything and just said ... nesting... you want some breakfast? :rotfl: x

Back from scan. Went really well. Had a male sonographer, which was a bit awkward but he was very nice. Got a couple of good pics of the baby, will upload them later. Estimated weight is 5lb 2oz and everything looks good.

Well, minutes after I posted my last message DH came home early so dinner is already in the oven! Yum!

I had the slightly surreal experience today of travelling into London on the tube for 5 stops on a train which was moderately crowded - no seats, but not standing cheek by jowl either - and having those who were sitting in the seats shooting me dirty looks all the way (presumably because my bump was making them feel guilty for not offering me a seat :rolleyes: ) I didn't ask anyone for one, or in any way hint that anyone should offer me one, as I don't personally think being pregnant gives you a God-given right to sit down, though its lovely when people do let you, and I'd always give my seat up for a pregnant lady if not pregnant myself.

When I got to my stop and started making moves to get off, one of the worst offenders looked up again, caught my eye, and said "Oh, I didn't notice you there, would you like my seat?" :rotfl:

Mooki, your bump looks lovely and neat. Mines much bigger than that and I'm only 10+5! I was looking at the pics on the Daily Mail website which the journalist took of her bump week by week, and my current bump looks like hers looked in week 29!

Just updated my EDD to 29th August, as the scan showed I am 15/5 :j (baby's head circumfrance is 16 weeks though). Everything looks fine, still no minera coil (they will check for it at each scan) and baby was happily waving at me

Then went for my check up.... BP was high (nerves) and urine had a trace of everything so it has been sent off to the lab, maybe that fruit salad bar was a bad idea. Got my triple test done today as well as a test to check for any sort of clotting problems that I should have had after I had DS2, to try and determine why I had an abruption as the placenta last time was perfect except for the 10cm clot behind it...

I don't have to have a section!!!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j she is happy to induce me if needed. I'm so HAPPY!!!

Medication was also discussed for if my BP does go up. An old one but it will bring it down slowly (as a sudden drop can cause an abruption, and guess what happened last time?).

Back for my 20week scan plus for the placenta to be checked on the 8th April.

Will post a pic if I can (camera doesnt work and don't have a scanner).
