Any news from AF today? :o

Thanks Elle - we have one of those so if it's OK we could do that. I think I will just get 2 photos (maybe 3 as OH wants to make a special effort to tell his) - I'll just send mine an email of it even if I take the photo on my mobile!

MrsT - I have decided that from week 38 I will be doing all things possible to start labour off - the usual sex, curries and pineapple. I can't believe so many people on here have gone over - it seems much more common to go over than be early or on time (except for Weezl!!!)
I would like a September baby so will be doing everythign in my power to get one! (It won't happen you can guarantee it!)

FG - can see now why you felt uncomfortable. I must admit I would rather have a female healthcare professional anytime but sometimes it's just not possible - I'm not sexist just find it easier to discuss thinsg with a woman.

Nope, sorry, you can't have me! :rotfl::rotfl:

I so wanted a September baby too. Poppy was due on 26 Sept 07, hence my username!. When I was posting on here then, I was fondly referred to as SeptoberBaby and founding member of The Overdue Club!.

Argh, I'm going nuts.. there's a not very nice smell in the house and I can't work out where it's coming from nor find the Fabreeze to spray everything with! :( Damn sensitive pregnancy nose - OH says he can't smell a thing!

Maybe OH is the culprit! ;)

OMG its taken me hours to catch up on all the posts. think from now on i'm gonna read the last 2 and thats it!!
    am knackered now!!
6 days till we have our 1st scan:j:j
DH said last night he's worried as well bout everything being ok and my body having played a trick on me and i'm not pg or something else.

got my hair cust today and i love it!! will go back again before i get too big and have more cut so its easy to manage when baby comes along.

am also gutted as my company (thomas Cook) every year reward their top perfomers with a trip. (all expenses paid) this year as there are loads of us they have split it into 2 groups. one going on a 2 nt cruise with NCL at the end of May and one going on Celebrity Cruise 2 nts (very psoh, luxurious ships) at the end of july,.... our area has been given the July one which means i cant go as they wont accept pregnant ladies after they are 25 weeks!! gutted is not the word. i worked so hard last year for this, and they wont let you swap the trips around either....

oh Jillie, they better watch, that could be classed as discimination! Especially as there is an alternative date that you could go but they won't allow it.
  • 36 weeks today so only 28 days to go - thats if bubs comes on time which seems very doubtful if the pregnancies on here are anything to go by!! I havent posted for a couple of days and felt sure there would be more babies by now.

I have my scan tomorrow to see if placenta has moved which I am pretty confident it has. Midwifes pick up the placenta when checking for the heartbeat so must be well out the way I reakon. I then have midwife appointment on Friday. I suppose I will have weekly appointments from now on then?

well i'm touch and go for the may trip as well...
all the cruis ecompanies have in their brochure t&c's that they wont accept you to travel if you are in your 25th weeks because their medical facilities are limited so wouldnt have scanning equipment etc on board.
i knew it would be a possibility i would nt be able to go but am gonna call HR bout changing dates due to my pregnancy ..
thanks tiamai, i hadnt looked at it that way....

any hoo... i;m loggin off now as shoulders are sore from being on 'puer too long!!
    chat tomorrow guys

PS MFD hope it all goes ok tomorrow!!
