Oh yes, lots! Thank you :) (we don't have anything like that in our mat notes here :()

So when I go at 25wks, that's when I book the app for the jab - sorted! :D I need to prepare myself - don't want her waving a needle at me as I walk through the door! _pale_

Hello all of you chatterboxes. Get ready for a lengthy post.....

I have been trying soooo hard to keep up to date with the chat, but by the time I get home from work, and read all of the posts, it’s usually really late and I feel there is not much to say. Tonight I have made the effort to lock myself in the bedroom and try to read through everything and then actually post instead of just lurking! I really want to join in, I just can’t find the time!

Welcome to all of the newbies over the last few weeks. :hello: And congrats to everyone who has given birth – I have enjoyed reading all of your stories.

Elle – I am a July baby. It’s good as you can have parties outside if the weather is nice, and you never get dumps at school etc. But sometimes if you have a party, half of your friends are away on holidays so can’t make it! It must be different in England as the school age here is Mar (oldest) – Feb (youngest), so July is more in the middle.

I don’t really feel pregnant at the moment as I haven’t had any sickness and don’t have to pee any more than normal! I guess I have been lucky, however, the excruciating pain in my breasts/nipples is more than making up for it.

I have my first scan on Friday so looking forward to actually seeing the baby and being reassured that I haven’t just made it up. I think others have said similar. Good luck to everyone else having scans this week, hope they all go well.

    xx

morning all! i'm in a state of shock this morning as i slept for 11 hours last night with only one wee! i feel quite smug!! got my sweep at 5pm today and i'm hoping and praying it will work!
I had a similar night last night for the first time since I knew I was pregnant I think. I went to bed at 11:30pm and got up at 7am without going for a wee!! I do normally go to bed between 10 and 10:30 though, so that probably made a difference!
Hope your sweep went well. Fingers crossed it gets baby moving!

I'm sure its just me but I really don't understand those of you that don't have choc in the house sometimes
I have a plastic shoebox (the type that obsessively neat people actually put their shoes in, in a neat stack in the wardrobe - whats that about?) full of choccy plus an over flow jar and a secret stash that OH doesn't know about and at the mo we have a huge tin of roses and quality street and the freezer always has at least 4 varieties of lollies/ice cream
Am I some kind of piggy wig?
Am so glad you ladies are also having sweet cravings... I didn't really have a sweet tooth before (was obsessed with bread and pasta and potatoes) but am finding am not craving but definitely more interested in sugar. I thought it was just me being a greedy !!!! and not the cub...
Unless it's near shopping day, we always have some kind of crisps and chocolate in. We usually have a tub of ice cream too but I can't be doing with ice cream in cold weather so I think the cornetto days will be coming in the summer. I sometimes bake too (make hazelnut and choc chip cookies tonight so have been scoffing those) so that helps satisfy my cravings.
Sugar Puffs ingredients - Wheat, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Sugar, Honey, Glucose Syrup, Molasses and vitamins.
Not the most healthy of breakfasts is it! Nice though.
I probably shouldn't admit this but I put sugar on them too.:o

Mookie - that strawberry hat is soooo cute!

Little Pickle - congratulations on team blue. Have you thought of any names yet?

Glam - our hospital charges £4 per picture. The first time we bought four (all identical) to give to people plus one for us. The second time they gave us four without asking and told us to only pay for 1! I have scanned ours in and they are fine. In fact, at the second scan the sonographer told us to make sure we did make a copy as the heatproof paper (or whatever it is) apparently fades over the years.

Ooh, now I've read further, Tine has said pretty much exactly the same thing! I was wondering about going to Boots to get copies made as my printer is OK but not amazing. Do places like Boots print out scan photos (if I take in a jpg of it)?

Welcome and congrats to happytum and fitzio too.

Antenatel was lovely, glad I went. Got a phone number off one lady and a lift home - feel like I'm making friends!

Anti D - Here it is 28 weeks and 34 weeks. I've got to have mine tomorrow. I had both routine ones at the midwife.

ooh loves it! Next have currently got a summer version I will be buying if bump is a girl :D
Back from scan. Went really well. Had a male sonographer, which was a bit awkward but he was very nice. Got a couple of good pics of the baby, will upload them later. Estimated weight is 5lb 2oz and everything looks good.
hmm male sonographer I don't mind, I think my pct has some sort of rule where only 5% of Gyne docs are female :(

Elle - you'll have to ask tia for ur :male: now :D I thought I'd done searching  Ps what is an SHO??
