I just stood up from the chair, no idea what I did wrong but I had to sit back down as I had major pain right above my bump, owch! Passed after a few mins but that was sore. No doubt that will be my ligaments complaining. Keep forgetting that I'm pregnant!

I thought I'd really miss it but I honestly haven't... 1st 18 weeks - too busy throwing up, up until about 28 weeks heart burn has meant I just didn't fancy it... Even now I don't fancy it that much but once in a while I just think "mmmm a REALLY nice glass of red/white/rose is JUST what I fancy..." - I don't bother with cheap plonk tho - figure if I'm going to only have one glass it might as well be a nice one!

I find that happens quite a bit tiami. I lifted my leg up on the bath to cshave it and think I pulled something. Not used to not being as agile as I was before. Simple things are so much more difficult now and I'm not even that big yet.

  • Afternoon all!

We have been out shopping and out for lunch which completely whacked me out and had me in agony on the sofa for about 2 hours  It hurts like hell to carry this big bl00ming lump around with me all the time.

Hubby was asking what I would like for Mothers Day today (I WILL be a mother by then!!!) and I said ideally I would like to go shopping and spend some money on me without having to think about it. So I will be hitting the Estee Lauder stand for some special treatment :T

((HUGS)) to those who need them and ))BAD THOUGHTS(( to all those OH's who should be being a bit nicer to the mothers of their children.

Haven't heard from AF since last night...wonder if her sweep got things started? *runs off to check*

the 20 week scan is only 5/6 weeks away
It turned out that at my 1st scan I was 19 + 3 so I won't get another one, so I'm lucky he came to that one, as it's our 1st.

Ahh! You are for this one, they even make mum-to-be cards. Don't you think that after a few months of pregnancy you've more than earnt your right to a bit of fuss as it is bloody hard work! :D
I suppose so. I feel so guilty playing the pregnant card though. I feel like a right lazy !!! in work at the moment cos people won't have me walking up and down stairs to often and they keep checking what I'm carrying in case it's too heavy.

A mothers Day card would prob make me cry anyway. I'm so emotional lately.

Ooh MrsTine! I'm waiting for Steve to finish watching the match, then we're off to Asda ~ Think I'll have a glass or 2 of wine tonight!! (Can't remember the last drink I had!)

We're only having hot dogs for tea, those big long fat ones (ooeerrrrr) on the Asda's own bakery rolls, which are scrummy.

We normally phone out on a Saturday night, but hot dogs will be cheaper than a £25 take out won't they!

I might treat myself to a book while we're there ~ seeing as Steve spent £100 this morning on some plastic things (body kit?!) for [STRIKE]his baby[/STRIKE] his car   :rotfl:

Mothers Day annoys me - my Mum had a pop at me last year because I only went over to drop off her card and present and didn't stop for long - I think she forgets it's my day too seeing as I have 2 children!

Me neither and I'm 24 weeks now so going well. I've got 3 bottles of Baileys waiting for me that I had for Xmas and I adore it so I am looking forward to a nice cold glass of that when I can. Not missing getting plastered on cheap booze though, oh how my life has changed in the last few months.

Off home now so I'll pop in tomorrow to catch up.

Jvic - I know what you mean... on the one hand I keep wanting to scream "I'M PREGNANT NOT DYING!" but on the other more and more things are causing me problems and I'm struggling with simple tasks or even walking faster than a tortoise! But I find it very hard to ask for help :( Only exception it would seem is work - but that's only because they decided to get all narky etc - got the stubborn streak out in me *insert evil grin* - ok so I COULD go in the office every day, BUT I know I would be in agony if I did and I'm just not prepared to go through that when I know there is no actual reason for why I can't work from home other than them being difficult - there is no physical work reason for why I can't work from home.

I am a very rare drinker under normal circumstances, but very occasionally when I am really grumpy I like one glass and it is always enough to make me very red cheeked and relaxed. Problem is that when we do go out to friends and we are walking I might even have 2 or 3 glasses (when not pregnant) and I'm completely legless. OH thinks it's great as I'm such a cheap date!
Too many children, too little time!!!
