Tara my dinner looks really good :D Does that count? And I had the worlds second best chicken salad roll today (the best salad roll was from the same place when I was preg with Christopher DS2). And I have a big bottle of oasis :D All I can think of is food.

OH remebered it was his turn to cook at 5pm, so it was pasta. His always tastes the same and only takes him 10 mins so I'm cross again. I was sorting my dinner for tomorrow this morning, roast pork, veg, apple sauce, potatoes and homemade apple crumble and custard. Why do we bother?

Well I can recommend buying a cheap jewellery kit from hobbycraft for distraction... think it was £3.99 and it's soooooo therapeutic to sit and put beads on a string and make them into a bracelet (idiotproof instructions!). Also bought another cheapie set which I might have a crack at tomorrow - still a good few hours to go on this one :) They're only plastic beads though but think I might invest in some proper glass ones now I've had a play and decided I quite like it :)

House is a tip and... I DON'T CARE!!!! :rotfl:
I have a lasagna from tesco's finest range ready to be put on - on special at £2 so cheap too and then I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight have a glass of something even if I was very naughty last night and had 2 glasses of rose! Yes I'm a horrible terrible mother! (It was over about 5 hours though if that makes it any better?)

I do and dont want him there.
Fair enough. I'm glad my OH came to mine tho, it was amazing seein our baby for the 1st time and I'd have been gutted if he couldn't have seen it with me. I don't think I'd have had much hope telling him not to come anyway! He's pretty headstrong.

This is our third though so kinda been there done that. Plus, the 20 week scan is only 5/6 weeks away, then another at 24, 26. 28, 30 etc so It's not such a biggie.

I want him to be there for the scan but not to speak with the consultant.

    Where's Hypnu gone?

She was taking her boyfriend to India I think - he had never been and I'm not sure if she has family over there. I think they were going to a few different places.

Tia - my OH gets worried. Because the MW mMentioned down's and Nuchal fold scans - he wants one just to make sure everything is OK. That's why he's paying because I'm not concerned!

Mother's Day will be sent on the phone to Mum and OH's Mum - we are sending scan pics in their cards to announce the pregnancy!

I've not wanted alcohol at all :j

*hugs* to all! Or would you prefer tea and cake?

I'm a happy bunny! :D Typical, wasn't it? I went to three big stores in two cities, 40+ mins away, never found the pram I was looking for, only to find it in a little shop in my hometown, ten mins from home! Is it possible to be in love with a pram? :o

For those also looking at Silver Cross prams, the owner of the shop was telling us that he's going to a SX conference on 22nd March when they will be releasing the new colours. The car seats are going up in price too - from RRP £99 to £109. He said they have been hounding them about making a base for the car seats - he's assuming a lot of other shops have been passing on their customers' requests for one too so hopefully they'll bow to public demand :)

When we were talking about brands which do car seat bases the other day, did we say Mamas and Papas too? I saw some of those today too.

Glad you got your scan sorted Tinkerbell. I'm a bit dissappointed I don't get another one.

    Bet you're excited now.
