For the past few nights I keep dreaming that I have the baby at 31 weeks. Which funnily enough is what my old consultant said after DS2 was born, that the next would be at 31 going by my history. Now, I don't mind this, but why the hell does someone grab the baby off me and throw it in the fire?
There is a thread just started about the tommy nappy wrapper in wilkos for under a fiver.
Em, tell them you had him but his hair was the wrong colour so you left him in the hopsital. I dare ya!0 -
hahaha thats awesome! when i was working i got loads of nosy old women asking me the usual stuff, when was it due, boy or girl etc but one asked if i was going to breastfeed so i told her no i wouldnt be but i'd leave it up to the adoptive parents to decide what or how they wanted to feed the baby, she soon shut up!!Mummy to

i suppose i should be using this "extra" baby free time to be doing things like that myself but i'm too busy doing nothing and feeling sorry for myself! i think i'm more fed up with people asking where the baby is than the fact he isnt here if i'm honest! next time i'm going to tell everyone the baby is due a month later than when he actually is!
I can sympathise with this, I am getting it already and i'm not even due until next Thursday...
MIL was even on the phone last night telling dh she wants to know when I go into labour and then the second he is born she wants to come over!!! She said she really wants to 'bond with this baby' !!!!!! what about her other two grandchildren that she barely acknowledges exist
Little does she know, I am not telling ANYONE when I go into labour, they will all be informed once he has arrived, but when I want to tell them he has arrived, which may be a few hours or the next day....depending on how I feel
Hehe - like I say I am in rant mode today:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

thats exactly what i'm doing, the only people i'm going to allow to visit the baby before i come home are the in laws and even thats only for moral support for OH, i want to come home and have a cuppa and tell people at my leisure in my own time! if all my friends and family had their way they'd all be there but i dont want it, visiting hours are only 2 hours in the afternoon and i dont want to be overcrowded! those first few hours are for bonding with mummy and daddy only. its going to annoy a few people but ah well!Mummy to

Mel, I think it's something to do with the weather. I feel fed up but also guilty as I hate to waste a weekend feeling p!!!!d off.Too many children, too little time!!!0

I'm having a HB emlou, which after the initial negative comments everyone seemed to think it was good, because they wouldn't have to wait for visiting hours, or wait until I come out of hospital.

Maybe it is the weather....I know I hate wasting weekends being grumpy too, and that just makes me more grumpy....

I feel like carp today! Supposed to be doing OT but not done anything except unload dishwasher and some washing.
OH rang earlier to say he's def off next Weds and to change scan to Thurs - explained they were booked weeks in advance and I had tried to change it 2 weeks ago but there were no appts. Then he said fine I won't come on Monday either - I told him if he couldn't be bothered now what would he be like when baby came along started crying and put phone down. He soon rang back to apologise - he's just frustrated that he can never get time off. Is asking to finish at 5.30pm a big thing? He works way more than the 40 hours a week he's supposed to and never gets 2 days off in a row which his contract says he should.
It will be easier when he's told them about bean but he's being over-cautious as ususal.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

i feel for you glam, hopefully when he's told them about the baby his employer will be a bit more flexible with him. is it worth trying to persuade him into telling them why he wants to leave a little early?Mummy to
