Mel hope you told her to sod off! She can visit when YOU invite her!

My MIL went upto see my SIL when she was in labour with 'her first grandchild'. She eventually got kicked out when SIL was moved to delivery ward and then moaned as baby was born 20mins later, she could have stayed and saw baby straight away!

Glam, my DH can't get the day off for our scan either, so you wont be the only woman sitting there looking like a single parent

Tia - No, I didn't tell her anything, she was talking to dh at the time, and although he was just being polite and agreeing with everything she was saying....that was only to get her off the phone because he was in the middle of playing a game on the PS3.

Thankfully we have been together long enough to know what the other wants!! (most of the time)

I just plan on not telling anyone anything.

Cherry toms, roasted red peppers, baby mushrooms and garlic cooked in olive oil with my secret blend of herbs and spices. Now should I make a tomato sauce to go with it? To be served with pasta. I neeeeeed red wine though...

He's home - told his boss that I have an appointment at 6pm so is it ok to leave at 5.30pm and they've said of course! He is there on a consultancy basis and has been for 3 years, he's hoping to get a permanent contract this year so wants to make the best impression but this often means working way more than he needs to!

Tia - I'll make sure I twiddle my engagement ring while I'm there! I just want it to be something we can share together. Am happy though that he can make the Nuchal scan so at least he gets to see bean!

Just got back from ASDA, got some choccies and sour sweets to keep me going tonight after my curry!! Don't feel like it now but give it an hour or so.

I wonder how Hypnu is getting on on holiday?!!

My boyfriend works for the council. When he told them he would be in late after the scan (he has flexi time). They had a big meeting about it and decided that he doesn't have to use holidays or flexi time for these sorts of visits. Pretty good. I suppose the council need to be seen to be leadin the way.

DH is a bus driver. He has been offered to swap his one saturday a month (long weekend) for the wednesday but I told him not too. I do and dont want him there. I want to able to speak to the consultant without having to avoid scaring him or him getting worried about me. Trying really hard to get him to trust that this time I will be fine. Infact he has went almost a whole week without saying the 'die' word.
