I don't actually like alcohol that much - don't mind a nice chardonnay or a nice merlot but normally can't afford it! OH's parents really enjoy a drink every weekend and drink loads when they come here or when we go to them.

OH is on phone to them now and the first thing they said was 'You having a drink?' OH said yea - 'and is Glam having a drink?' cue OH 'um yeah yeah she's having a pint of cider' whilst he's trying not to laugh and making bump shapes with his hands:rotfl:

BTW They don't actually call me Glam :rotfl:

MIL is reminding OH that it's Mother's Day on the 22nd! SHe's a b00ger - we get constant reminders about her bday and one year OH didn't send her a card and she got soooooooooooooooo moody.

I don't think OH has told MIL yet but I've booked a table for me, him and kids for lunch that day. Told him he's paying and no-one else is invited, stamps foot!!!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Ah I forgot to buy Bovril for my toast tomorrow. Was going to have Bovril and beans on toast - yum.

tara - don't they drive you nuts! Mine will bang on about it every day until the 22nd so another 2 weeks. Am dreadin telling them I'm pg - they mean well but they will be asking EVERY day - how is she? how's the baby? is she eating? oh we've bought this or that. Tell her not to buy such and such because we've found something better instead and bought it!

One is not amused, they have stopped putting the big drumstick lollies in the lots a lollies pack!

Kids demanded popcorn and are now watching a DVD in bed. I have a weeks of college work to catch up with but too lazy to do it. Did I mention I got 28/30 for my chemistry assesment? :D I'm just so clever me. :rotfl:

I don't drink at all, but I do like wine in food, just gives it a flavour that nothing else can. Alcohol boils at 60'C so it is non alcoholic after cooking anyway, but I swear red wine laced spaggy bol or lasagne knocks the kids out cold all night :T Oh and I have certain wines for certain foods too, no cheap plonk is spoiling my food

oooooooo seahorses on telly! I love seahorses! Always wanted to keep them but my house is too noisy for them.

Agghh I've been getting BH's all day which isn't that unusal but they are painful, like a period when they come, they arent that regular, sometimes i can go half hour 45 mins or even an hour in between.
Thing is me and OH had sex this morning and I think maybe it's just becase of that.
I know i should call the midwifes or someone but i really dont fancy spending the night up the hospital for them to say there is nothign wrong again

Candygirl, are you around? How's your DD? I have a question you might be able to help me with..

When I'm home alone with baby (after OH goes back to work etc) I'm thinking that I might spend a few days a week at my Mum's house. Am intending to join a few groups too, but none of my friends are off on mat leave and all work weekdays, so to get out the house I'll go to Mum's.. Which leads me to thinking - would it be a good idea to get some things solely for my mum's house, like a bouncy chair and/or play gym to save me having to load mine into the car each time?

Candy, are you having any bits permanently at your house? Sami, did you leave anything at your mum's? Anyone else got any thoughts? :) Thanks!

My godmother regularly looks after her granddaughter and she's got her own fullsize cot, travel system and fully stocked wardrobe!

My mum had bits at hers when I had DS, it is much easier, and also they are there if Mum wants to have bubs overnight.

Elle, I would. Also nappies and a couple of bits of spare clothes. Probably try to get it secondhand on ebay or something though.

AM - depends how worried you are if you're not too worried wait and see how you feel tomorrow. If you are worried, then go to the hospital.
You couldn't have started things off already could you?

Has Sami gone for her scan today?

Tia - I have my NVQ assesor coming on the 16th and I've done !!!!!! all -she last came in January. Can't seem to get the motivation to do it.
    What are you studying for?

Curry in the oven can't wait - I'm starving
