The baby now has a shelf for his clothes and another shelf for toiletries!

Still don't know how I manage to amass so much junk.

OH is finally on way home from work, so we might actually have time to watch a film. Can't really feel that annoyed at him having to work this weekend - his boss was there till 4am yesterday!

Making OHs favourite dinner tonight, sausage, beans and mash! Dead simple but its his favourite. I don't like sausages, so he'll eat 8 to himself and I'll do me a pork chop. Curse him and his 32 inch waist!

AM, you know the hospital will only tell you to take a bath, or that you have constipation! :rotfl: Hope they ease off soon, are you dehydrated at all? Mine were worse if I was dehydrated.

Elle, I kept a bounchy chair, nappy supply, a few spare bottles and dummies (can be sterilised in a pan of boiling water, boil for 10 mins if no sterlisier), clothes, travel cot when lo was older at my parents house.

Glam, biomedical sciences. Taking a year out next year ofcourse but want to get all the extra things I can this year (highers etc) its only a NC course but they add in higher human biology, higher chemistry and CATCH points for nursing. Next is the HNC, then I can get into a 2nd year uni degree course in biomedical, biology, zoology etc. When I make my mind up.

AM and tara, what do you suggest? So far, I've thought of play gym and/or bouncy chair and changing mat plus nappy stocks. Good point on the spare clothes, tara! My godmother is giving mum her travelcot which she's never used.. mum said she would get a small, foldable highchair when the time comes too - she's thinking she'll get the travel type stuff so if we go away on hols we can take all her stuff :)

Glam, I thought Sami's scan was on 28th March.. not sure though!

Thanks Elle - she's not been about today so thought she might be having scan. My baby brain is frazzled - can't remember anything these days!

Feelie - I can't eat mash with beans! Can only eat it with peas and gravy - I'm strange I know. OH likes cheesy mash I just can't get my head around it!

Elle, calpol or paracetamol when baby is old enough. It's amazing how quickly a fever comes on when you have no medicine. And a syringe for when they are small.

Hehe, I was saying that to OH yesterday - he wanted fish fingers, beans and mash, odd boy! Beans go with chips and crispy things; gravy goes with mash! :D

I do like mash with grated cheese and fried leeks stirred into it though.. always have it with grilled lamb chops which we smother with mint sauce as they're cooking :)

Mmmm got a mini lamb roast for tomorrow tea - can't wait! :D

I love cheesy mash! I always feel horrible when I give OH a big dollop of plain mash, but thats how he likes it. Beans go very well with potato waffles. I cook the potato waffles in the sausage juice, naughty but soooo lovely!

AM - depends how worried you are if you're not too worried wait and see how you feel tomorrow. If you are worried, then go to the hospital.
You couldn't have started things off already could you?

Has Sami gone for her scan today?

Tia - I have my NVQ assesor coming on the 16th and I've done !!!!!! all -she last came in January. Can't seem to get the motivation to do it.
