I've been looking at the eletric steriliser (already have the microwave one :) got the last one from my Asda lol) but is there a huge advantage between them? Bear in mind I have a TINY kitchen so gadgets have to really be justified as I loose a lot of surface space if I have any :(
Especially wondering if I'll be fine with a microwave one as the plan is to breastfeed and only bottlefeed further down the road (actually it'll be DH who will be bottle feeding - he wants to help out but we both agree that for the first 2-4weeks we're going to aim for just breast if we can...) and then it'll only be 1 maybe 2 bottles a day - the rest will still be BF...
Tine the micro one is absolutely fine you deff don't need the electric one too!
I used the micro one for Chris until he was about 18mths and now I use it just to store the clean bottles n dummies as no need to sterilise past 12mths
The microwave one is actually quicker and you can leave it in the micro when its not being used so would be a complete waste of ur money to buy both :D

How do you manage to remember dates so well?? I'm sure you have a little Pregnancy club diary with everyone's scans EDDs etc on it!! :rotfl:

Honest gov, I don't! :D I did make a list once - after I'd made a point of asking if anyone had a scan that week I thought I couldn't very well forget to wish everyone well with them! Now it's just at random..

I'm one of those strange people who look at the date and vaguely remember it's someone's birthday that day then remember it was someone I went to school with who I haven't seen for years! Looked at the date on the car parking ticket earlier and realised it's my ex-bf's birthday today, funnily enough!

Just heard from AF - a few niggles but nothing much doing.

My MW said if nothing happened within 24 hours after the sweep then it hadn't worked (ie you would have prob gone into labour then anyway) AF's MW said 48 hour - any advances??
ooh hope AF is ok/going into to labour :D I feel excited!
I have no idea about sweeps as my dates for Chris were wrong so he came "early"

I've decided this baby must be huge:eek: its really giving it some whelly with the kicks etc and I realised that at my 2nd scan with Chris he was "spot on for dates" (so actually 2 weeks 'too small') but I have deff dates for this one and am spot on again so (in my mind) this one is 2 weeks worth bigger than he was

How long do babies use bouncy chairs for? Until about how many months old?

We've got a wardrobe set in our spare room which we need rid of and mum's suggested I see if my sis wants it, either for £50 or in exchange for a piece of baby kit, so I'm thinking a bouncy chair :) The ones I like are about £45-60 - too pricey? :( (for a chair I mean - not too much to charge my sis! ;))

Sami - I'm the boss of the place so if you wanna pop in feel free. Tell the girls you are a drug rep promoting contraception then I'll know it's you:rotfl:

We have a Costco account in work and I need a new shredder so could go. Where did you get the voucher from?

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks beans and mash is wrong - makes me heave thinking about it!

Imagine if AF is in labour/had bubba - when did she finish work? Friday? -
that would be good timing. ah just seen MFD's post. not quite yet!

Me and OH making most of quiet - got our music CD's on full blast. We usually do it when we are wrecked and I dance around like a fool - he's gutted because I'm not dancing cos I've not had a drink. I'm having fun listening to the music and singing along.
Can't read my, can't read my, no he can't read my pokerface....
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • LOL Sami - she said nothing doing!! I think it is natural to be a bit sore after a sweep (I know I was!)

When the MW visits at home what is the etiquette? should you make her a cup of tea etc?

hope everyone has had a nice day.
been working today, keep staring at all the people in with prams and pushchairs and the amount that are all in car seats is amazing. lets face it, if you go to trafford centre you;re going to be there longer than 90 mins!!

Sami - could this baby seem stronger because your stomach muscles aren't as strong this time around? Especially if you used to be a gym bunny.
