    Tine's Hospital Bag:

    Nightdress
    Dressing gown
    Slippers
    Socks
Underwear - take old ones, buy new ones to replace them :)that's what I'm doing! Taking Asda cheapy shoite and will replace with Lepel or La Senza ;)
    Magazines/Book
DS (being as I have about 1000 games... actually 1032 games to be precise...) Ooh I wonder if Siân will lend me her DS lite? Good thinking Batman!!
Camera - although not sure... DH has a really good camera on his phone and mine is an 8Mp cam too...Steve has a good camera on his phone, but it's fiddly to use, so if I want a pic of the 3 of us and we need to ask someone else to take it, our normal camera will be easier to use.
Money - I plan on taking £40 with me - if I need more I can send DH out for some...
Bottled water and orange juice cartons
    Toiletries (toothbrush/t.paste/deodorant/soap/hairbrush/bobbles)
    Towels
PJ for after Roo has arrived.
    Maternity pads

    Stuff for Roo:
Nappies (any ide how many I should pack???) I'm gonna take 15. I might not use them all or I might need more, but I'll just keep the rest of a pack in the back of the car (Steve won't be far away at all)
    Baby Wipes/cotton wool
    3 baby vests
    3 baby gros
    Bibs
Notepad + pen (Great idea! Nicked that :D)

    Coming home stuff

Car seat - actually think I'll just get this set up in the car so when DH comes to pick us up he can bring it up.
Little Roo outfit I have already bought for her to come home in :)
Blanket - really ought to get on with crocheting it!
Something nice for me to come home in... NOT jeans... Mainly as I have no idea what size I'm likely to be when I have given birth! Gals - any ideas on this? I got some yoga style pants from New Look, I'm wearing them now, but they have a pully drawstring on them so they will still fit once I've had the baby. I was just thinking of those, a t-shirt and a hoodie. (It's warm in the hospital so I can keep the t-shirt on there and just throw the hoodie on when we're coming out) I'm just wearing trainers too ~ I just want to be comfortable.
I'm not taking enough after mum to be able to do with what she did - she wore her prepregnancy jeans when she left hospital! but then unlike everyone else on the maternity ward she looked like she'd never given birth after she had me. So much so that people didn't realise I was hers if they hadn't spoken to her before I arrived. So unfair...

When I had Jack (my first) I was back in my pre pregnancy jeans within 2 days ~ those were the days! :D After Siân, I think it took me 14 years to get back into them :rotfl: (I'm joking, she's only 11 anyway lol)

You might need a bit of money or a cc card if you want to order any packages from the Bounty photographer.

Oh dear! what a palava, could you just swap it at mothercare then?
I hope the carseat fits in our car
It's a ford escort, oh sod it i'll just have to make do with a different one if not, and not use the travel system bit of buggy.

We just swapped it all at the store yeah. When we went on Saturday I mentioned that we had just got a new car and could they try the SC carseat in it for us - bloody good job we did cos the woman said it was really unsafe!

Just pop to any Mothercare store and ask them to try the seat in your car for you. If it doesn't fit, then they won't mind if you have to swap the seat/pram etc. If you're gonna wait till it gets delivered and find it doesn't fit, I'd ring your local store and ask them if you can do straight swaps there.

Apparantly it's Vectras they have a lot of trouble with, because of the shape of the seats at the back which means the car seat can't be strapped in securely. You might be fine with your car hun, hope so anyway! xx

must fill this space so I'm allowed to post

    LOL thanks Sami!

So one pack of glitch nappies, £40 is mainly for in case I need something from vending machine (so coinage) as there are NO shops anywhere near the hospital. So drinks etc... and so DH can go buy himself bacon butties if we're there in the morning lol

ahh actually I will make sure I put some cash in my bag because like the queen I tend to not carry any :D mmm a bacon butty now THAT is what you need after giving birth!!
The nappies will probably be too many but its easy to just chuck a pack in, in fact I didn't use any of my own nappies because they provide them at mine and I got a few in the bounty bag but I know some other hosps are as free n easy with them

I might try and get some summery loose trousers and a loose top to match to go home in...

Shell - as well as borrowing/begging the DS get one of those cards where you can insert a MicroSD card on - I have one and it's groovy! I have soooooo many games from the web (very naughty... whoopsie) and they work brilliantly - got mine from a neighbour who's selling them for £25 :) Best buy EVER! :)

SB I have to say I'm not really that tempted by the bounty photographer thing... I am not half bad with a camera and half my family are amateur photographers so I'm sure we can take better ones ourselves :) DH can always bring my Digital SLR in if we're in long enough :)
