Oh forgtot to add that thats the reason we bought the camera in Edinburgh, I'm not paying £60 odd quid for the bounty photos when I can just take hundreds on my own camera.

Well we have a photographer coming to do bump pictures on monday here at home so depending on how good they are we might get them to do some baby shots too :) If they're no good we're going to contact Krystals friend as we really liked her pictures on her site and she's very reasonable pricewise :) Just means travelling but needs must.

Dh took some bump pictures of me in the shower but I really didn't like them :( I wish he'd told me to straigthen my back as I was slouching a bit and made me look like I had fat folds on my back! EEWWWW!
So going to have some decent ones done - photographer mate wants to build their portfolio (already professional but not done many bump and baby pics so I get free pics and he gets bump pics for his portfolio - everyone wins :))

I'm probably going to take thousands of photos of the baby. I've already taken a couple of thousand of my Bunny Rabbit! OH bought a HD video camera too, so we'll have lots of video of the baby too. I prefer pictures myself, camcorders capture too much I think.

I've got some bump pictures OH has taken. I'm not bothering with professional ones - I look awful all the time and wouldn't want to waste time/emotion on 'real' ones!

I feel a bit guity now when I see how many photos I take :(
in Chris's first year I started of taking about 250 photos a month!! (I suggest pre-buying credit on somewhere like snapfish ;)) its slowly got less n less and in the last few months not including Christmas day and birthday there are about 20 per month :(

Shelvis he is gorgeous, the pictures lovely :D

Well ladies after 8 weeks i finally have my maternity exemption card, arrived in the post this morning. :)

Does anyone have any advice, we're expecting twins & can't fit a side by side pram/pushchair through our door. Does anyone have any experience of decent pushchairs suitable for newborns. Would really appreciate any advice. :o
Does anyone live in the south east??

    :D Hi ladies,

It's been absolutely agggggeeeeeeeees since I posted on here! I went away for a week, came back and had hundreds of pages to read. You lot talk too much!!! Everytime I have a night out and try to catch up the following night, there are about 20 pages to read!

I've managed to completely get up to date today because I've been off work with a S&D bug so have been laying in bed with the lappy having a mammoth session (of reading, nothing else :o!).

Congratulations to all the new mummies, I've loved reading all the birth stories and seeing the pictures of the new arrivals. Lots of labour vibes to the mummies-in-waiting too.

Since I last posted, I've had my 20wk scan and everything is looking fine. We didn't want to find out the sex, so are still none the wiser. I have a feeling it's a boy, but don't know why, especially as I always imagined myself buying lots of pink outfits! I had a look at this article on netmums http://www.netmums.com/pregnancy/Boy_or_girl_.951/ (just for fun) and I reckon I could end up with a half boy/half girl :D. My "morning" sickness was in the evening (so girl), my bump isn't visible from the back (so boy), had a few spots and don't usually get them (so girl), have developed a hairy stomach (so boy)...think I just need to wait and see!

What is the suggested date for packing your hospital bag? I'm only 22 wks, so plenty of time yet, but I haven't really got anything yet, so perhaps need to start buying bits. I have a bit of a mental block and can't see past doing up the nursery. We've begun sorting the room out so have made a start, but I just can't see past decorating, setting up furniture etc. I just have this thought that everything else will be done afterwards, when I guess it should really be done before.

We've bought the pushchair, car seat and cot (no mattress yet) and have also been given quite a few baby grows and vests. We've also bought some nappies (thanks to the Boots glitch), wipes (Asda baby event) and muslins (Tesco baby event) but that's only because they were all on offer, not because we went looking for them IYSWIM.

I haven't made a list or looked for anything like PJs, breast pads, nappy sacks, cotton wool, etc. I think it's because I want my lovely nursery ready to store it all in :o. I guess I need to get over it...or do I have plenty of time still? I'm not scared of buying the stuff, I just don't feel it's time yet.

This has been a long post (there are probably another 3 pages of goss for me to catch up on now :D)

Hi Dooleys - southeast is a large area but yeah technically I am in the southeast :)
Have you looked at the iCandy Pear? That is I think what Icklebeans is looking at at the moment and she's expecting twins too :)
I got the iCandy Apple and it's in the nursery now ready for Roo to arrive - the quality is pretty impressive so far although we've not used it - only played with it :)

oh Tine did I tell you to be careful with the foamy covering on the handle of the icandy? I know 2 peeps who's foamy stuff started peeling off, icandy fixed it quickly and as far as I know didn't have any problems after that tho :)
