And DS1 is ill with myserty might-be-chicken-pox-might-be-something-else-virus  Care club called so I went to pick him up and he looks ill, blue under his eyes and pale. So he is now lying on the sofa under his duvet with a hot water bottle and has had some ibuprofen. He has a headache and is cold (took his temp it's quite low). Hopefully some rugrats will perk him up. Mleh, atleast I wont have to run about making his packed lunch tommorrow.
I've felt quite ill today as well, but I'm living in hope that it is just tiredness.
DS2 seems to be OK, but his legs are now covered in spots (more like your typical viral spots than chicken pox to be honest). He is lying on his duvet (or puppy bed) on the floor eating a tissue...0 -
I'm back..
We're on TEAM BLUE! (95% sure anyway)
Everything is absolutely fine with the scan - so fine and boring they didn't write anything in my book to even note I was there (which has JUST reminded me about tara's experience - I've got no notes of the measurements either!).
Got a nice bruise from my blood test too - results of that next Monday.
Off back for a read of what I've missed today now..0 -
why do children like to sleep in dog beds! when SD was younger if all went quiet and you wondered where she was she would always be in the dog bed, with the dog sat on the floor outside looking grumpy!!Mummy to

Hi all
I am well. Body doing what it had too as easily and painlessly as possible. We are a little relieved in one sense but surprised at how disapointed we both feel too I guess this is probably natural and will wear off but haven't written off trying again. I've been keeping up with the thread from time to time. It's helping me think through the realities of the decision.
Just wanted to mention a couple of things.
My baby (age 7) is called Mackenzie. We love the name and it's not chavvy here yet. He's the only one at school. His NN is Kenzie although we did refer to him as Mac when he was born Big Mac actually as he was 10lb 11oz. I've just looked and it wasn't even in the top 100 boys names for 2008 so not too over popular yet. I would recommend it.
Also I wanted to let you know something I took in my labour bag that was wonderful. It was one of those evian aerosol sprays. It was a real help to have a spray of it on my face during the hard stages of labour. Gave hubby something useful to do too.
Best wishes to all. Hope it's alright to lurk from time to time. It's helping me.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

Well he is using a duvet folded in half like a dog bed because right now he is puppy :rotfl: Both my boys have obsessions with behaving like dogs, so much so that DS1 used to pee against the fence when he was being toilet trained. :rolleyes:0
