I wrote a list for my bags the other day.

One thing I haven't seen on anyones list yet is YOUR HOSPITAL NOTES!!(don't forget 'em! lol)

    I've got on my list...

    Labour/hospital bag

    Yellow notes
    Nightdress
    Dressing gown
    Slippers
    Socks
    Underwear
    Magazines
    Mp3 player
    Camera
    Cash/change and PLENTY of it
    Carton drinks
    Toiletries (toothbrush/t.paste/deodorant/soap/hairbrush/bobbles)
    Hand towel
Pjs/Nightie (for when I've given birth)
    Maternity pads
    Underwear
    Nappies
    Baby Wipes/cotton wool
    3 baby vests
    3 baby gros
    Bibs
Notepad + pen (incase I need to write anything down or get bored/can't sleep and feel like jotting shoite down lol)

    Coming home stuff

    Car seat
Outfit for baby + cardigan + hat
    Blanket
    Outfit for me

Think that's it! The stuff for coming home, I'm just gonna leave in a bag in the back of the car along with the car seat, then when I know I can get ready to go, Steve can bring it in for me. Hopefully I won't need half of what I've got on the list because I'll be straight in and out. (Depending on what time he's born, don't fancy coming back home too late throughout the day).

Must be different colours in different areas?

    Hello girlies.
I've not been around much cos i dont feel i;ve got much to contribute lately, just incase anyone thought i was being rude :o
I'm still plodding (or waddling) along with the pregnacy, 33+1, and just looking at recent posts, I think I might sort out my hospital bag starting today.
I'm going to use a hodall(sp?) my mum is lending me and the boots changing bag for the babys stuff, i know people say just take one but I want it seperate.

Just to scare you into action... at 33/1 I had been admitted to hospital the day before, I was in the middle of a prem labour scare at this time (not why I was admitted) and in 2 days time I had an em section. :D

  • My notes are blue!!

My sister is back in hospital with mild contractions again. She is now 33+5 - this is the third time this has happened and each time they have stopped by themselves. 2 years ago her DS2 was born at 26 weeks so it has always been expected that she will deliver early.

My labour bag was a small pull along suitcase and my notes were kept in the front zippy part from when it was packed...and taken out and put back in during my many MW visits! I also had a holdall for baby's stuff and a carrier bag full of drinks and snacks and magazines which could be thrown away after use.

Re itchy foofs - the only time I ever had an itchy one was when I had thrush and the only time I had thrush was when I was pregnant!. Could it be that?

    xx
