I knew she was thinking of having the secret scan but not that she'd had it until yesterday. At least I discussed it with my hubby first :A

I was thinking of moving the ones who haven't had any activity on the boards to the birth list, and the folks that are still posting I'm just messaging asking them to pop by and let us know how they're getting on... I'll give them till tomorrow then move them to the birth list anyway if we haven't heard...

Sounds like a good idea Krystal.

ladies i have just re-packed my bag cos i did it weeks ago and couldnt remember what was in it, can you tell me if theres anything i will need that i have missed? or anything that is pointless?

    for me,
trackie bottoms and t shirt to come home in
    2 nursing bras
    5 pairs of knickers
    hair straightners :D
    1 button front nightie
MASSIVE nappy style maternity sanitary pads:eek: (they look so comfy, not!)

    toiletry bag,
    toothbrush
    toothpaste
    flannel
    deoderant
    shower gel
    2 in 1 shampoo

    for baby,
    4 sleepsuits
    5 short sleeve babygros
    1 coat
    2 hats
    2 pairs of feety trousers
    nappies/wipes
    1 blanket
    1 shawl

i've also crammed in a few light bits of make up, camera and spare batteries, a multi pack of go ahead bars and some energy drinks, and i am going into town shortly for midwife appt so am going to try and hunt down a light dressing gown and uber cheap slippers and possibly the biggest cheap mens t shirt i can find for labouring in.

there has to be something i've missed, i dont do organisation!!

emlou you've not got towels on there most hosps don't provide them
Have you asked if u can use straighteners? most won't allow anything electrical unless you pay to have it tested for one of those green stickers
you've not written hair brush and I suggest lip balm/vaseline and some moisturiser coz the hosp is quite warm so u get dry skin the second you step through the door, can't think of anything else... oh socks and breast pads!!

edit - I'd take a spare nightie/PJs as I leaked on one and had to ring my mum to bring another :o

Last night I went for a widdle before I went to bed as normal - but this time for some reason I got this insane itch in my foof... Never had anything like it! Had to pour cold water over myself to help stop it. It carried on but was bearable and managed to get to sleep - however it's still there even if not as strong as it was last night. Anyone else had this? And it might be my imagination but I think the foof might be a little swollen too...

I've been itchy there a few times - almost crazily so and only at night. Have had blood tests for OC (had really itchy hands and feet too_ but tehy were clear but am having another set next week if itching still there.

And my foof is definitely swollen:o
