I see u lot were talking about baby gender last night - My friend I saw yesterday has had a secret scan and found out it's a girl without her OH knowing!!

Have just remembered that my dates gave me an EDD of 6th March (Friday) but my 12 week scan put me on 2nd March (and as we know I have a slighlty larger than average baby)...so I figure he is not really late yet


Had a bit of a 'am I ever going to be attractive again' cry in the bath. Hubby not really taking to bringing baby on IYSWIM. I know its not personal (and that it is nothing to do with attractiveness - it's hardly like I am overcome with lust either!!) but there is only a little bit of a rational person left inside me at the moment.

Getting out of the house for a while will do me good...well at least it will stop me cleaning for a little while!


ETA - SLS - appointment with midwife tommorrow at noon for a sweep!!!

Isn't that strange....That is my 'other date' too!!!!!!! I had an early scan at just before 10wks which gave me a date of 12th but another scan I had and my lmp both put me at the 6th. The midwives have opted to stick with the 12th, as they say that is the most reliable scan, they also said there is less chance of having to be induced too, if they stick with the later date.

Sending you Labour Vibes...and hopefully you won't need the sweep tomorrow.

She said if she told him now he'd bee p'ed off but she is going to tell him just after the birth when he can't be mad coz he'll be all happy with a new bubs
I've never met her OH so I only sort of know him from things she has told me and I know that he wanted kids more than she did so I think he'll just be happy that he's got one because they had come to the agreement that they weren't going to have any but she had a 'scare' last year and she didn't find that scary so they decided they would actively try for 3 months and see what happened and they made a baby on the first cycle

Ceiling will be fixed once the insurance have sent out someone to inspect coz the quotes we've had are just under £1k which warrants them checking we're not taking the mick.

PS everyone I will be finding out the gender of my bubs on the 28th :silenced:
