Just thought I'd update on the foof - the itchyness does seem to have reduced by itself - no idea what it is (redmel did see your message before you removed it and no idea if it could be that... never had it before so not sure...)
I'll see how it looks/feels tomorrow - it's nearly gone at the moment so not sure what it was... weeeeeeiiiiird :)

Weezl - where are you hiding???

If you are not having your baby boy I would be interested in your thoughts as to what to avoid because it slows down labour (a hot bath and laying on your back for example).

If you are having your baby boy - yay for you...hope it is all going well!!

Nowt so exciting m'lovely, just a mammoth asda shop and decorating and cleaning! ;) My pal who I saw yesterday reckons I'll be over dates cos I'm not swollen and a bit too nimble still and have what she calls a neat bump????? But I'll keep you guys well posted!

about baths and laying on your back, they can both slow your labour, since the
weight of the uterus and its content press on abdominal aorta: and can cause reduced blood flow to the foetus which –slows down labourwhen laying on your back, and the relaxing effect of the warm water reduces the efficacy of the contractions (like the way it removes period cramps). ;)

But on the flip side, fear and tension in the body also inhibit labour starting, since humans and all mammals will only go into labour when they feel calm enough, so some women find a hot bath and a lay down actually starts things off!:D

    HTH!

    Love Weezl x

I was thinking of moving the ones who haven't had any activity on the boards to the birth list, and the folks that are still posting I'm just messaging asking them to pop by and let us know how they're getting on... I'll give them till tomorrow then move them to the birth list anyway if we haven't heard...

OOOOh Kristal that's a bit scary! Gulp... Quite like a buffer of a few folk above me! ;)

p.s Mrs T glad the foof is a bit better, that must've been horrid!

pps I am still not an outy, but I feel it may be a matter of time. DH reckons there's only a centimeter left!

    Isaac Thomas M

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:As you can see, we are still undecided:rolleyes:

I keep thinking Kai is more in keeping with our boys names, as Isaac is very traditional......or as my mum's BF told me yesterday....very Jewish:cool:

Cor, just put my bed back together (had to drag the mattress from the bathroom and along the landing) and popped the bookcase back up the corner in the bedroom and I'm cream crakered! Sweating so much my hair's stuck to my head... And I never sweat! Carpet feels wonderful underfoot though, will be luxury in the morning! Have left the landing littered with books... Think Hubby might have to trek them into the bedroom...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Right... I ought to probably at least make a list for my hospital bag.... I just still can't get my head round it - gah! Feely I think My hospital bag is like your "buying stuff for baby" block... I'll probably be fine once I actually start!... maybe....

Mel not sure if any of this will help
Isaac is probably popular amongst jewish families because it is biblical from the old testament
    Isaac
    Boy's or girl's name? Boy's
    Origin: Hebrew
Meaning: From the Hebrew Yitzchaq meaning "he laughs" or "laughter".
    Popular in: US, UK, Spain
Facts: British scientist Isaac Newton was born in 1643.

    Kai
    Alternate Name(s): Kaj
    Boy's or girl's name? Boy's
    Origin: Latin / Scandinavian
Meaning: A Danish name from the Latin Caius of Etruscan origin and uncertain meaning, but possibly meaning "rejoice".
Popular in: Scandinavian, Dutch, German, English

I personally won't even consider Kai because its popular with the chavs around here:o
    but both have lovely meanings

PS My name (Samantha) is hebrew too :D I don't know if its popular with Jews too??
I don't think I've ever met a jewish person  I hadn't ever 'met' a black person until I was about 12 in high school, until about 10 years ago everyone in my town and school town etc were either white or aisan

My stepdad is a Kai :) And I can assure you he's not a chav ;) He's a retired Commander Senior Grade of the Danish Navy and a Knight of Dannebrog (the danish flag - I guess equivalent to Knighthood in England) 1st Degree (we have 2 degrees - 1st is the highest).

Isaac.... bit too religious for me... :)

ps and Kai can as mentioned also be spelt Kaj - this is also the danish word for harbour - suitable for my stepdad at least :)

I did say around here ;) I think where Mel lives is a bit classier than here and your Dad sounds very classy!!
around here all the kids are, Kai, Kaid, Mackenzie and then you get the odd Shakira  etc
We (MIL and I coz we are snobs :D) were laughing at how classy the H family are (as we are both only H by marriage ) OH's cousin has found us on FB and her name on there is "Vicky Lizzie" as u may guess her actual name is Victoria Elizabeth a very regal name ruined on a chav
