Afternoon everyone, just back from my cycling trip, and managing to sit down. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We have 6 hours out getting some fresh sea air at the side of the Mar Menor, as well as two stops for coffee, and a menu del dia. Really enjoyed it, and will certainly repeat it.:j :j :j Even better news is the knees have not complained:rolleyes: :j :j .

Bemuzed - Congratulations, Halight too. Get the BM out and look on here for the BM thread, using ingredients from scratch rather than mixes may be your answer, or a different yeast. Look up your model as they all vary slightly. Anniestar - think it is either too much water or sugar, but more experts will be along soon. MSD - I did the recipe and it turned out fine, but just mixed my mince with carrot, mushrooms, and a handful of lentils. Congratulations Cheapskate, ofsted for a childminder! words fail me. , Glad you posted (after prompting) Jayward, she is still in loads of pain, and going round in circles with the medical profession, they are trying to convince her she is imagining it!(Took some piccies for you, will try to get them on Facebook or Photobucket later).

Isochick - awful news, and at no age, I feel for the parents.

Fairy Elephant (((hugs))), Moggins you too.

Smoky, how is BS doing with the bereavement councilling, have they organised it yet, and is the YS getting better with the carpet watering?

    Take care - DG

Hi everyone! Been MIA for a few days as I've been busy. TBH think I was too ashamed to come on yesterday as we were having steak wellington pies from Harrods for tea!!!

But they were half price and very nice so am I forgiven? ;)

Happy Birthday Nesssie! :bdaycake: Big 40!!! I have a significant birthday in March but for the time being I am still in my late forties!

Been a bit more OS this afternoon and made 2 tea loaves and enchiladas for tea. Two more NSD's so far this week - I am making a dent in the food mountain!!

Off to finish tea now then rehearsals for HMS Pinafore.

    Hugs to everyone!

Diva, I only once put oats in with a shepherds pie, and I thought it was revolting, we just could not eat it, it did bulk it out but most of it went in the bin or the dog, will not do it again, I now put a handfull of lentils in most things, much nicer xx

Isochic, how awful thinking of the poor family xx

Bit late on again today. Yesterday i had an asda delivery and wasn't very happy with it at first. 2 bags of bread flour had BB dates of Feb 09 and March 09, also there was a dent or two in tins i ordered and then the 3 large bottles of Persil concentrated washing detergent at £4 each, were not the non bio i ordered but the 'colour' sort instead. I phoned the customer care line on top of my invoice from the delivery driver and the lady said she would refund me the £12 i had spent on them and i get to keep the 3 bottles of colour clothes detergent for free! I'm not sure if it will suit our skin though as we have allergies, but i will give it a go,each bottle gives 42 washes so that is 126 free washes. Hope it suits us!

Yesterday I made 5 batches of chocolate and walnut brownies and 5 batches of cherry coconut cake (most of which is now in the freezer).

Today i have dried some clothes and made 4 loaves of bread, using the asda bread flour with the early BB dates. I make the bread by hand and just used my mixer dough hooks on the dough for 5 mins for each loaf, and it turned out really yummy.

The best thing about the Asda delivery was i found a Free Delivery code, lots of stuff i ordered was on offer and now i have 3 bottles of washing detergent to keep and a £12 refund.

I'm off to Stafford tomorrow for a fast track MRI so feel a bit nervous about that but my parents have had them and they tell me it's okay, i'm having my brain scanned, hope they find i have one ;-)

I'm mostly concerned about getting a panic attack due to claustrophobia, i'm asthmatic and confined spaces freak me out and then i hyperventilate, so prayers and positive thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Hope all is well with you all, i'm going to read through the thread now...i am a bit backward tho' LOL!

    Evening peeps,

what a lovely day! sunny and bright and very uplifting.

We went to the poundshop earlier for a nosy and came back with two more raspberry canes and some fleece and toothpaste, we always get the toothpaste from there as it`s a good bit cheaper than most other places, the colgate is often on the 2 for a pound offer.

Afterwards we went to Wilko and bought the young houndie a new ball and then we went of to Bakewell again. Our excuse was that i needed a couple more pie dishes from the little pottery shop there :D we had a lovely time and the houndies adored the park and as usual ended up in the river - result two clean houndies to bring back home instead of two muddy ones.

Nice and quiet here as they are both asleep and Mr Sunny is in Manchester with some friends for a concert, i think that i will load the wm and dw then set th bm up on the timer and the yogurt maker and thats me sorted. Quick shower and an early night as i have an early start tomorrow. Mr Sunny will be nipping out for a quick walk with the monsters when he gets back.

    Beemuzed - Congratulations!

Anniestar - i think it`s too much east, i`ve done it before with the same results :D

    Fairy elephant - ((((HUGS))))

    Have a good evening peeps.

EDIT Kathlicos - Good luck for tomorrow (((HUGS)))
