  • If I cant get through it, will have to withdraw

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Listen hun, I just finished a L2 course @ 60 points and half way through I hit a brick wall and really couldn't fathom out my tmas. I ended up substituting a tma out of sheer boredom.

But, I stuck the course. sat the exam in October and passed with a L2 where I expected a L3 result. :j

So chuffed all round, keep at it hun, you might just be surprised :D

Mid terms blues are quite normal, x

Thanks to everyone else re d101. Glad its not just me but really disappointed in the OU for the course.

Ended up substituting TMA3 because I just couldnt face it and wrote to tutor. Am going to try 4 but already I note people questioning it and its so frustrating!! If I cant get through it, will have to withdraw but am damn stubborn and really dont want to.

Ur nearly half way through it, I know its tempting to chuck the towel in (apologies feel like the pot calling the kettle black), try and work through it,ur on tma04, theres only a couple left, soon be over, xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I feel like a moron for posting this, but does the Open University offer Masters degrees through distance learning?

I'd quite like to study something in English.

Just on for a moan really. Doing EA300 Children's Literature this year (first presentation) and it's driving me mad. The first 3 tmas have been a struggle and I'm now about to embark on the 4th which is covering a huge breadth of material - all to be condensed into 2000 words. Have I got a clue where to begin? NO! :(

Ah well, it's good to know I'm not the only one suffering lol.

Good luck everyone, it'll be worth it in the end (must try and believe that....) :):)

  • Has everyone seen the changes to using Clubcard Vouchers to pay for OU courses?

In summary, after 1st June 2010 they can only be used against level 1 courses.

That's a real pity :( I'm sure that opened up so many opportunities for people.
