Not this presentation, was planning it but ended up doing too much studying for work, am planning it next time around though. How're you finding it?

I'm really enjoying it at the moment. It doesn't actually start till end Jan, but I am working through the 1st topic to try and get ahead, as I know that I will have periods where I can't do much!

There is a lot of maths involved, like scientific notation, powers and ratios. Not being mathematical, this is where a lot of my efforts are concetrated. I am determined though. I NEED to do this!

Good luck for the next course. October I think, the next one should be.

Im doing S330 this summer so doing exactly the same, finding it quite frustrating that its not started yet because I wanted to make a 'proper' start this week while I was snowed in, lol. Sent the finance paperwork to the OU last month so hopefully will have my place confirmed for the October one soon.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I dont mind paying for the course myself as its a second degree but would i not be entitled to anything as i am unemployed too.

No as you already have an equivalent qualification.

The OU is targeted at those who want or can only do part-time study, so you can take on any job while studying to support yourself.

Also you can pay your fees in instalments.

I'm currently taking MST121 which is due to finish in June though I'm hoping as there is no exam I can finish the TMA's of for Feb. I'm strongley considering taking two level two 30 point courses starting in Feb.

I'm a bit unsure if I am over committing though, anyone here who's done exploring maths and / or analysing data know if they are a big jump from MST121 or just a gentile step?

hi i'm doing sk121 and i feel like pulling my hair out, i'm doing an essay on physiological factors affecting contracility and oh my god how do you put that onto paper,,,,, needless to say will keep striving on x

I had a lot of trouble with that as it says you should answer in no more than 250 words. I counted mine and had 430:eek: I've spent all day trying to cut loads out but still have it make sense:o Good Luck!!

I've done a crossover on level 1 at one stage had the three running, then down to 2courses, but I'm not in full time employment and non were exam based.

I would say it depends on the courses, are they similar, are they exams?
They may only be 2 x 30 points, but its focusing on them as individuals. x

Oh good luck scuby, some of it is clear as mud! haha.

Send my finance form in too, although I misread it (trying to rush while babies were napping) and fudged the bit about nationality. They are going to think i'm an illegal immigrant at this rate. Sent it in with crossings out here, there and everywhere. They'll be pulling my place at this rate!!
