INTERVIEW TOMOZ
Its only washing up but i am so releaved to get this far. I cant see much going wrong at a washing up interview so i think it will just be discussing hours/rate of pay.
I am now so happy, my parents may finally agree to lend me the money i need now they know i will have something to pay them back with.0 -
good luck!!!moneysavingme!!
washing up in a chinese is great you get youre supper to take home!
what kind of place is your interview at?0 -
good luck with that, word of advice - anyone thinking of doing glass collecting at a social club/WMC i wouldn't recommend it; im 16 and have been doing it for over a year, its a horrible and somewhat messy job, and with what i get paid (£3.50/hour) its just not worth giving up your weekend evenings.
anyone got any ideas for swale area in Kent (thats a longshot) i really need to change jobs, preferrably something weekday evenings or saturday daytime?
and please.... dont suggest glass collecting0 -
Have you tried your local sports centre - my DD got a job helping out with the kids parties that they held at weekends.
I guess you have tried all the local supermarkets, in this area they are always looking for shelf stackers and check out staff for evenings and weekends. What about the local baker, ours employs from age 15, not to serve but to work out back , carrying trays etc.
My DS is 14, but he delivers the local free midweek paper and earns between £12 and £18 depending on number of extra leaflets to deliver.
Good luck with your search.0 -
Just got back and they said that there were never any jobs but they wanted to see me before they put me on the waiting list.
This is now doing my head in, any chance martin could include me in the e-mail!!!
Must be someone in the area on here that knows of some jobs, please.0 -
when i was 15 i worked at dewhursts butchers which wasnt much fun as i was a veggie at the time too but was worth it for my own pay packet! then i got a job at the local tanning shop. i would ask at corner shops, small businesses etc. also ring around garden centres and things like that.
put adverts in local shops and post offices too. ask your windo cleaner if they need an extra pair of hands. look out for new shops opening in your town centre as they often want people to hand out leaflets and things there.
ring all the supermarkets and aks for an appli form or to be put on their waiting list.
try fish and chip shops (i know you said no food but that is limitimg yourself a bit with chippies your only wrapping them up..is it an option?)
once you have got a job then it is easier to get a second.
good luck!0 -

I think morrisons are having money problems at the moment since taking over safeway. I have heard from people that work there that my local store is really understaffed but they don't have the money to take anyone else on.0 -
