I myself have been made redundant 3mths ago havn`t seen anyone from panasonic offering me there condolences

What goes round comes around my friend, there is a lot to be said for treating others as you would expect to be treated yourself.

I am sorry you lost your job, but that doesn't make ripping people off ok, never.

Yawn. I'm sure this must be a joke. Panasonic don't necessarily have a lot of money sitting around doing sweet f.a.- their shareholders are the investors who shoulder the risk, and that's not just rich faceless men in suits, that's people investing their life savings, pension funds managing the money we live on when we retire, (if ever).

But go ahead and rip them off cos you 'thought it was worth a try'. What would you do if they had to honour your absurd transaction and the company went bankrupt, causing tens of thousands to lose their jobs, shareholders to lose possibly their life savings and so on, yours and my pension funds decimated...?

Yes it is shareholder that shoulder the risk, they knew the risks when they invested in the shares so that would be their own fault, you do realise the value of shares can go up as well as down right?

IF (is that a big enough if?) the company was to honour the transactions that took place over the weekend I still cant see that causing a company of Panasonics size to go bankrupt. Hurt them yes, bankrupt I think not.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

I got the cancellation email and refund of postage email today for the blu-ray player i ordered.
  • Iam not ripping someone of they were displayed at 1p
    Its there mistake not mine
  • Yes BIG IF, because they wouldn't have to, because thankfully here are laws stopping stupid people thinking they can rip others off when they've made a BIG GENUINE mistake.

However BIG IF they did have to honour it - i painted the worst case scenario.

Besides, you are either a person who has a personal moral code of conduct, or you are not.

I am no fan of giant corporations, or those that put the little guy out of business but i wholeheartedly disagree with this type of behaviour. Simple tings.

but you knew it was a mistake and you tried to take advantage of it, so you were attempting to rip them off.

Other things like this have happened before with local stores

Obviusly the items were stupidly cheap, but i dont know whats happening in the panasonic company, were they getting rid of there stock, due to them saying that they were making job losses, I Dont Know !!
