  • Mistakes Happen - You can't expect them to honour them - particularly when you order such an enormous amount of items - order 1 or 2 items and you are much more likely to receive them - - I got a new Dyson for £0.19 delivered from Amazon once - if I had ordered 300 of them they would have spotted this a mile off - because people just don't order dysons in that quantity.

Dont be daft thats completely different!

If thats what you really think then you have got A LOT to learn about people my friend!

I ordered a few bits off the panasonic website pretty much knowing I wouldnt get them for a 1p but if there was the slightest chance that I might then I was prepared to take that chance. To me these sort of things are pretty much risk free as the money will get refunded anyway.

Not as risky as investing in the shares you keep going on about!

    lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

ok mate. I really don't think i am the daft one here who was hoping to get several grand's worth of electrical goods for 1p a pop. You are right however - i have got a lot to learn about people because they never fail to amaze me with their stupidity.

FYI i have not advocated investing in shares, i personally wouldn't dream of it - just pointed out shareholders are humans too.

If you make a mistake in business you have to put it right

Good on you for getting the Dyson for 19p

So why are you even posting on here apart from acting like a troll and winding people up?

Thinking people that go for things like this are the same type of people that get taken in by Nigerian 419 scams is daft.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • Why " are you wound up "
Thought is was a discussion forum ??

Its ok for you to discuss things on here but not me ???

If it bothers you dont post then !!

I am not wound up in the slightest and i am not a troll!

I am enjoying listening to you all, feel free to go ahead and discuss, but as you pointed out it is a discussion forum - or would you prefer to discuss this only with people who agree with you?

You can say what you like but so can i, i am not trying to offend you, or you plushchris, just i disagree with what you are sayin and i think anyone who tried to get this stuff for 1p was being a bit silly.

Hello, Not sure if that got lost in translation:-

'Lets live in a society where mistakes don't count.' Meaning it's ok to make mistakes ??

what does 'softy soft now' Mean ??

And to the last part, I'll miss out then !!!! :rotfl:

    And i'm not taking the p88s !!!

    I'll clarify.
If you make a mistake, stand up and take the consequences. And as I said in my first post, it's prob someone that got laid off, and decided to muck around with the ex-employers e-shop...

One of the big food chainstores last christmas were doing a deal for 3 crates of beer for a £10, insted of £20
they had put up the wrong price, they had to let all of the people that had picked up the 3 crates to buy them

I know the Money value if abit different but its just the same.
You are incorrect. The store that you mentioned was NOT obliged to sell the crates of beer @ £10. They were not forced to sell the items at all had they chosen not to. The fact that they did sell them at the lower price was absolutely at their own behest.
