Yep spot on, they're on the telly now, absolute scum, preying on the old, infirm and ignorant. As for the salesmens pitch they all had the same spiel, "concrete porus, will absorb moisture and crack, fall apart, weighing vastly more due to water saturating the concrete and then roof will fall in" its so obvious that its the companies training of the salesmen, "go for the scarry stuff lads and we'll rake in the cash" in my opinion.....
HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT?..............absolute scum........0 -
just appeared on rogue traders, BOTH salesman used EXACTLY the same speel to con the researchers which proves that all their salesman are taught the same hard sell speel which to me proves the whole company is iffy, LOL at anyone who uses this company after tonight !0

These clowns have been on BBC's rogue traders, be very aware!!0

BBC Rogue Traders outed this company on 16/03/09. Basically if you have a job worth £500 doing, they will tell you you need £2,500 - £7,500 spent on a basically sound roof0

Did anyone here notice that the 'roof expert' stated that the coating product itself was sound, AND IT WAS AQUASHI*TE that was at fault, not the coating. Can't condone sales tactics, but been using these coatings (good stuff costs £112 a drum mind), at Seascale for years.
One 136 sqmtr roof here had 650 kgs of wet moss removed..... so old roofs can weigh more. Plus.. and again not saying AQ are right , why was there no opinion from a coatings expert, rather than a conflict of interest from a roofer, hardly gonna give the opposition good press is he???????? They did make a mess though eh! And yes the first salesman was supposed to be earning *£5000 a week last year, (*internal source) and the MD is running around in a New Bentley so it works great for some eh!!!!!0 -
If your roof leaks get a qualified roofer to look at it (not a Painter).
I could re-roof a average semi for just over 2K. Steer clear of gimmicks.0 -
They quoted me a couple of grand but came down to about 500 odd in the end.. still said no:D0

Can't believe anybody would have this done.
It's as bad as the muck they spray inside the roof 'to hold the tiles in place' yeah right!!
Wait till you have to have a tile replaced oe the ridges done, what sort of a mess will it look like then.
I'm a roofer of 25 years experience and wouldn't dream of coating the inside or outside of my tiles.
Let the house breath.
It wont be long until folk start moaning about the damp appearing.0 -
Anyone any experience of their "surveyors". Yesterday I signed up to an appointment as a favour to an aquashield salesman who I know (he claimed he would get £85 for making the appointment. Nice work if you can get it!) but after reading these postings I think I'll call and cancel. Worst part is I saw them on Rogue Traders but couldn't figure out why the name seemed familiar.0
