I got the same leaflet yesterday with my 2nd statement. But there was nothing about credit card cheques
. Maybe there's an increase for you on the horizon .
 I do hope so! Will let you know, DW found out about her increase when she called the automated number to find out how much she had left to spend! She nearly fell over when the automated voice said what was avaliable! She called C/S to see if it was a mistake and the operator said that her limit had bee increased.
The "upgraded" letter came a few days later! - she didn't get the Watch your credit limit grow leaflet, so maybe its a new thing!Official SOS Club number 011 - Dry until 17/11/20090 -
Whats the best way to get your credit limit increased then? Paying off in pull or partially? Spending upto your limit or halfway etc?0

I would like to know this as well. I am still waiting for my first bill after I got my card in April, according to Customer services my bill will be posted out 9th June and I have to pay by July 14th. I want to spend £70-100 a month on the card, I am wondering whether to pay off 90% of the balance or pay off the lot. At present I got the £250 initial limit.

I sometimes pay my bill off in full or over a few months. I also had a nil balance the month before they raised my limit to £1250. There is no rhyme nor reason to it. I think they just want to see you using it.0

They do not calculate risk/limit increments or cheques based on balance or previous payments. Bottom line is that so long as you pay the minimum, and do not abuse the card or go overlimit then you'll get regular increases.
It is a principle of trust and risk not simply repayment as people can fiddle this to see what system works best... like me; I have 3 cards. I pay one off in full, on the other I pay minimum by DD and a couple of bill payments which clears the amount (3 payments per month) and on the other I leave about £20 balance each month.....
I'm testing the best way to conduct your account. However, i've since been told there is no right or wrong way. Just pay the minimum and never miss payments and you'll be treated the same as Joe Bloggs that clears his in full each month.2010 - year of the troll
