They didn't ring me.
I actually put down false phone numbers on my application as I didn't expect to get one and I didn't want my details banded about. I did give them a real number when I activated the card though.0 -

How did you explain the fake number? Or did you just change some digits of your proper one?0 -

I just told them that the home number they had was wrong and the mobile number was a made up number that the online application insisted I input - I claimed I did not have a mobile. He did sound a bit disbelieving but took it.0 -

Yes they work saturdays. Not sunday nor b/h monday.
don't hold them, literally, to their promise of 2 days - just be patient! You know that you've been succesful (positive mental attitude lol) just wait for the phone call....2010 - year of the troll

I got one and they didn't call me either - on my land line I don't have an answerphone and rarely check 1471 so don't know if they tried.
They never rang my mobile though.Official SOS Club number 004 - Dry until (05.01.10)0 -
Has anyones APR EVER been lowered with Vanquis?
I called them, asking them to lower my APR or I'll take my business elsewhere. They said it is automatically and gradually lowered over time. I'm still waiting for that time to come. We’ve had to remove your signature. I applied a few weeks ago, but had to send in Address Verification because i'd moved.
I got a Vanquis card through the post yesterday
They did not telephone me at home (well, there were no left messages from them), or at my work number or on my mobile.. btw
Card and welcome pack was on the mat when I got home.
I activated it today! :T0 -

They wont need to ring once you have verified yourself. That is what I am saying to Rose, she will have been accpeted because they wouldn't ask for I.D otherwise - they would just say no!2010 - year of the troll
