    She didn't tell me the card limit....think she was upset with me, but she did say the APR was quite high..54. something.

    I just wanna use it for petrol and then pay off in full each month....she insisted that I take a direct debit at minimum payment each month, but perhaps I can cancel this and pay in full?

    This may be a stupid question but do you HAVE to speak to vanquis in order to get your card. I applied 10 days ago and have had a couple of calls and a text from them to call them back. I am hopeless at talking to sales people and i don't want to get pushed into taking out PPI or a minimum payment DD...

    I dunno, i think sometimes you dont have to but iv been told to wait for a call to process the application

    Yes they usually keep trying to get hold of you then write asking you to ring them....
