I pay mine every month by debit card.. NatWest, the money leaves my account immediately (always check via online banking) and Vanquis credits 2 days later.
Have you pre-registered a debit card with them?

HSBC does faster payments to Vanquis - I pay on 16th and credits 17th usually (if weekdays of course)...

I applied for my Vanquis online on the 7th, got my phone call on the 11th, card on the 15th, and my pin arrived today. It starts off with a £500 credit limit after having absolutely no credit for 7 yrs since we arrived here (should've kept our Canadian accounts active instead of paying them off and closing them before we moved!). Also got a Cap One Visa back in January which started at only £100 limit, but has been increased to £300 on my third statement.

I just rung telephone banking (Vanquis) and checked balance: Your available balance is £500!

My 4th statement was produced on 19th so obviously they upped my limit! Yipeeeeee

Got my third statement for both Aqua and Vanquis. Neither increased my credit limit. Hopefully next month.

Vanquis will do it next month mate, I got mine in january and had a statement Feb, Mar, Apr and the one just done was the increment so 4th statement May 2009.

That must be how they work; Brian says after 3 more months it goes to £1250! LOL - nice :rolleyes:

Virtually guaranteed to go to £1250, my first increase was on 3rd statement to £500 then 7th to £1250.
Paid in full every month by debit card apart from one when I left a small balance.
Any day now you will get a big envelope through the door with the words on the front "Have you been upgraded" :beer:
I'm going for £2000 now, hopefully not too far away

Interest may be high but I basically use mine as a chargecard with an option to leave a balance :cool:
