Thankls just had my call too, refused ppi too and cash advance of £100 (so I assume my credit limit will be £150). I want to pay the balance off in full each month to avoid interest but have also set up a d.debit for minimum payment (they said I should do this). I'm confused how this works... for example if I were to get my statement on 15th of every month and pay the full balance off on the 15th, what stops them still taking the minmum payment via direct debit. Will I need to cancel the direct debit if I want to pay the full balance every month? Confused.com lol
  • out of the blue i've just had a letter saying my credit limit will be increased by £500 putting it up to 3k

I applied yesterday and had a phone call this afternoon.

Was told I was accepted and they they started pushing PPI. I said no 3 times and then the call was cut off. Never got to the cash advance. Will see what happens!

yes he went through the ppi thing with me 3 times, each giving the same example and still asked if I wanted explaining to me again when I said I didnt want it lol he then paused and said is there a particular reason, do you not understand? I said no and he replied 'oh ok, your choice'. I only got offered £100 cash advance with 59% APR so guessing my limit will only be £150 but not a problem, only want it for building my poor credit up.

Does anyone know how long the cashback offer is taking via quidco?

How long were you with them and when did you open account? I just got 5th statement and no increase. always pay atleast half of debt to them so they make interest just to bump credit before i pay full bills. I even took it to £248 spent and nothing :O
