Okay, that makes sense, so should I do like this past month, which was to spend on it, then just get the statement and then let them auto take the full payment by dd when its due? Has anyone cleared their card each month (whether paying after the statement or by full payment dd) and still gotten an increase?
Clear my balance in full every month - Started at £250 then jumped to a £750 limit and from the end of the month they are increasing my limit to £1,000:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

My JD Williams catalogue started at £125 and on my sixth statement its just been raised to £900 but the first few statements I paid in full and got no increases.
Soon as I paid the minimum payments I got increases every month but I know what their doing and there is no way I'm spending a load of money and paying them a ton of interest so I'm keeping the orders small and getting larger items from the interest free catalogue I've just got.
I learn a lot from you guys and I'm going to pay Vanquis the minimum payment for a few months and see if they raise the credit limit to a silly amount and then get back to you to see if paying in full or paying the minimum gets the faster increases for meI'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
i applied for a Vanquis card on the 24th November and i've not heard anything from them since. Will this mean my application has been declined? i've read a few post where people get called back the next day and get accepted. Is it worth giving them a call or will they let me know that ive been declined?0

Get my next Vanquis increase on my next statement on December 21st - When will my account update and show the increased credit limit? On the 21st or 22nd? Thanks:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

I've had a Vanquis card for about two years now. I started off with £250 credit limit, and was a bit concerned that I wasn't getting any increases, although they did reduce the interest level.
I started to use it more often, taking it close to the limit, but paying it off in full every month, and I just got another limit increase to £2150.
I'm very careful with it, and it has been good for my credit report.0 -
I've had my Vanquis card 9 months now, started off with a £150 limit and 49.99% APR and still have those... I tried speaking to customer service to ask why I've not had my limit looked at.
My wife applied the same time as me, started off the same and has had 2 increases since (£150 > £250 > £500), Some months I pay the double the min. payment others I clear around £100. I usually keep the balance at £40 - £100 as I use it for petrol, my wife only ever pays per min repayment. I just applied for a Capital One card and got accepted so I hope they are more generious with the credit limits, I dont want to use them but having a limit of £150 doesn't make me feel trusted.0
