did they offer a cash advance to you? if it was £200 odd then your limit will be £250... if it was £400 odd then you got a £500 limit..... try and think what figure they said when they said 'we are pleased to offer an immediate cash advance and you can have ££££

Yes they did - £450, so I guess that means a limit of £500 or so. Thanks NID.

LOL, thats it then £500 - well done! I assume that is a tier C (i.e. 34.9% apr)?

Thanks! She said 39.9% and 34.9%. I'm going to try hard to use it a bit, and pay off most every month, and see if they put up my limit.

since i have applied for this card im getting plagued by money lenders, texts offering money and today some company called direct finiance uk were hasseling me they also started the call by saying in relation to your recent loan application and i said what loan then he said oh credit card, and that i had been refused hence he was trying to give me a good loan.

bloody terrible im getting told i was refused by some other company before i was even told myself! looks like vanquis have told me to go take a running jump lol

I got my Vanquis card today; credit limit £250, 34.08% APR on purchases :beer: No PIN yet though!

Are you sure this is as a result of Vanquis? I've not had any dodgy calls - well apart from the usual ones about debt that seem to do the rounds!
